  1. Just ordered a bunch of DIY flavors and diluting liquids from Perfumers apprentice. 2 purple spinners, 2 EVODs, and replacement heads for EVODs from myvaporstore. As a side note, one of the spinners i got a few weeks ago from them died within a week. I sent an email and they promptly sent an apology email and included the shipping label to return it. I think it's awesome when vendors not only replace stuff, but don't make you pay the return shipping.

    Quick Little Mod

Little mod i just made. Nothing special but i thought it was kinda cool. It uses a 14500 Bat., Led switch and 510 connector. You can see i already sand blasted the top half. just need to disassemble it to do the rest, then powder coat it. I'll probably powder it Black? not sure

  3. I talked to my father the other day and come to find out that my uncle overdosed using an e cig. He went to the ER complaining of chest pain and severe skin irritation. The doctors said that he overdosed. On what I don't know. Sorry I don't have all the details. It was a relatively short conversation. My step mother went on to say that the FDA really needs to regulate e cigs and of course that caused a debate where she brought up that we don't know what the Chinese put in it and poisons have been found in some samples. I told her that most of the liquid we use now is all from FDA approved items like loranns food flavorings and vegetable glycerin and that the poison was found in 1 sample. I asked for her to think about it logically. Cigarettes contain over 4,000 different chemicals and electronic cigarettes contain 3 or 4. While not smoking will always be the healthiest alternative which would you rather do inhale vapor or smoke. She said that until the FDA approves it she isn't going to touch it. My father has since stopped using the eGo I sent him for xmas because he doesn't want to overdose. All of this may sound absurd but I can understand where he is coming from. My father has MS and 2 yrs ago doctors put him on pain meds in such high doses that using the medication as prescribed led to him having an overdose and being in a coma for 10 weeks. I personally don't think that my uncle actually overdosed on nicotine or any of the other ******** they fed him. He had only been using it a week and the doctors probably asked him the normal questions. Have you changed your eating habits? And other ?'s leading him to talk about the e cig. Out of ignorance the doctors not really knowing what was really wrong with him attributed it to his e cig usage. Here's my question for the community. What effect if any do you think the ignorance of so called medical professionals will have on legislation to approve a ban of e cig distribution? And here is the nail in the coffin. This incident happened in NY of all places.

  4. Customer review from MyVaporStore.com's EVOD product page: Reviewer: EddieAdams from Huntington, NY United States "I really loved the t3 when it worked but, the flooding/leaking issues I experienced on all 3 that I ordered made them something I stopped using outside of home. I decided to try the EVOD seeing it was a redesign in hope that the flooding issues were resolved. I'm on my second tank without issue! I love the volumes of smooth vapor and the higher voltage performance of an clearomizer. The smaller capacity/size is a big plus for me. 2 ml is plenty. Actually looks "right" on the 650 mAh battery. The new mouthpiece is slimmer and flared which is more pleasant to use. The flaring gets rid of that stream or small hose feeling when pulling that you got from the t3.The tank is transparent by the mouthpiece allowing for easy viewing of remaining liquid even if not visible through the sight windows by flipping over. Replaceable heads are priced right. As long as I continue not to experience the issues I had with the t3,Kanger and MVS have a real winner in the EVOD."

  5. The Vivi-Mini Nova's and the CE4 rebuildables are one the stable vaping items that always seem to generate quite a bit of discussion. Whether you Love them or hate them almost everyone seems to have at least tried them. Even vapors who tend to prefer the higher end stuff usually reveal that they have a few for when they go out and about and don't want to take any chances with their more expensive equipment. They have been out for quite a while now and have been through a few changes. But the look and ease of use have not changed. There have also been many clones made that can sometimes be hit or miss. Quite a few people have contributed to making them better trying different wick and coil combinations until they found what works for them. They have also been wiling to share their findings with the vaping community and for that I thank them. Here is what they look like for those few that have not used or seen one. When you first buy one you might be amazed at the ease of use. Can be filled straight from the bottle (no syringes needed), they produce a lot of vapor, are super easy to disassemble and clean, And have very good flavor , for those that say the flavor is muted there are simple changes to improve that also. For those that don't like rebuilding you have that option also they sell replaceable heads in different resistance that can be bought very cheaply, screwed on refilled and go. If you like working with your hands then they can easily be rebuilt for even cheaper. It's your choice. You may already have your routine down on how you handle your Vivi Nova's. So what follows isn't for everyone its for someone who has been using one for a while now and doesn't want to spend money on more heads or someone who wants to coax more flavor out of them. They might not know what the term dry burn means or even that you could rebuild them. This is what works for me. I have broken it down into two parts. First is after you have already rebuilt the head and want to replace the wick either because it will no longer clean or you want to change flavors. The 2nd Part is how to recoil and rebuild the head to set it up for easy wick changes. So now you don't have to wait for the wick to dry before refilling. As I might have mentioned before there are quite a few clones and more coming. This is also how you dry burn to clean when you first get these , except you can leave the silica wick in. it won't burn the red hot coil will turn it from black back to white. Part 2 I hope that I answered more questions than I created. But if you do have any please post them. Thank you for taking the time to read/view this.

Hey all, just started vaping about a week ago, and so far haven't touched nor cravaed an analog. Bought an eGo-C Upgrade battery with a clearomizer to get started and I am loving it. Just ordered some more stuff online (liquids, clearomizers, liquids, accessories, etc.) as it is a bit cheaper than getting it in person. Looking forward to talking with you all.

  8. I've found that if you'll vape your tank empty and then fill it with a new flavor, the switch in flavor happens pretty much instantly (unless the first juice is a menthol, which may stick around for a minute). There may be a little of the original juice still in the wick that will flavor the new juice for a second, but it'll be gone pretty fast. BTW...I think you'll do fine making the switch once you find a flavor that you look forward to vaping, and one that satisfies your nicotine cravings. What kinds of e-liquids have you tried?

  10. Yep. Cartomizers, Clearomizers, 510 atomizers, ... all those types of delivery systems leave little puddles. (big puddles are not common, just little puddles). Welcome to VT!!!

    New to RBA's?

Thanks for the vid Uma, some interesting stuff in there. Might try it out eventually but i'll stick with one material at a time for now I got my AGA yesterday, gave it a nice long soak in vodka, rinsed it out and let it dry, then had my first go at building a wick and coil. I had a pretty difficult time rolling the wick down to a size that I could fit into the wick hole, so i'm gonna see if i can get my brother to drill that out for me. And it was a pretty small peice of mesh, plus i had to trim the edge to get it to fit, so it was def. a thin wick. After following all the steps for the wick i put everything together, did 4 wraps (i found it suprisingly easy to mount the wires, that was the part i was worried about ) and started testing my coils. I had a hell of a time getting them all to fire, but after 20-30 minutes of playing with them, i finally got all 4 to glow nicely. The coil came out to 1.7 ohms, i was using 32 guage kanthal. Filled 'er up, added some drops directly on the coil and started vaping. First couple hits were pretty nice, but it didn't take long until i got a pretty dry hit. I'm thinking my newb experience along with an extremely thin wick are slowing the wicking. I'll keep playing around with it and see if it starts to pick up at all, but i might just try another wick, although im not sure what all i would change. All in all tho, my 1st try took about an hour and most importantly, it worked lol

    new and a couple q's

I ordered the vision battery and a evod, I hope this fixes my issues. I'm beginning to think my juice is too thick also, my bro sent me some of his juice and it's thinner than mine and vaped a lot better. I added a few drops of dw to the tank and had a lot less dry hits but lost taste and vapor so gonna order some new juice too. I chain vape so I take multiple hits at a time and then set it doown for a few.

    Hey All

Welcome !!! Very glad you have found us and vaping. Sounds like you need to look into an eGo or eGo type battery....

  18. Like Kitsune said, when you smoke, you'd take 10-15 drags over the course of a few minutes. With vaping, i prefer 1 or 2 drags every few minutes, but I pretty much vape all day long. I'll go an hour or so without if i'm out running errands or making dinner or whatever, but you get my point. Do whatever you feel comfortable with and like Mike said, just listen to your body and make sure you don't overdo it. If you're getting headaches and feel your heart beating fast, back off for awhile. And also drink lots of water. I don't mind repeating this a million times because to me, it's very important.

  19. being able to use it around my asthmatic 5 year old son without feeling guilty. saving easily $100 a month when compared to cigs (and yes that's including the price of all the hardware, and i have alot lol) being able to run several miles at the gym without hacking a lung up not smelling like an ashtray knowing i'm not putting carcinogens into my body or the air around me actually knowing the $1.00 i spent on air fresheners for my car wasn't a waste not having to roll my window down in the rain while driving to "smoke" not having to stand outside during the middle of winter and freeze my *** off for nicotine think that about sums it up.

  20. I would say one of the hardest parts is finding the right E Liquid, strength of nic and percentage of pg/vg. Not sure if thats enough to stop someone from trying vaping but it is a daunting task!

    Got My New Ego...

I have a couple of questions for the eGo vets here: I just got my new ego; it came with 2 mega atomizers and it seems that the cone does NOT come off the mega atty. Is this right or am I missing something here? I plan on getting some 510 attys for it and need to know if I'll have to get a cone for it - unless theres a way to get it off. Also, as the second battery is charging, i notice it's pretty hot; not too hot to touch but close. Is this normal? *edit* I forgot to add.... Dude is in LOVE!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, the eGo. For the noobs like me out there on the fence. Get one! Dude.
