Personally....I say, have a cigarette. It was the best thing I ever did. about a month in...no cravings up to that point...then out of no where, I got a craving. Mind you had gone into vaping without intending to quit smoking, it just happened. I digress...had a smoke, and almost threw up...it was so nasty. It cut the final cord of ever want to smoke again. That was a little less than 4 years ago. The more pressure we put on ourselves to quit....the more anxiety we develop and makes the cravings worse. side note....be very careful with the 30mg....can make you feel like ****4 points

9 from Mt Baker
Lyrical reacted to CaptStuBeans for a topic
The below are from my recent order. I was a menthol smoker for 33 years, so I like the minty crap. All the Mt Baker stuff produces very nice vapor. All juices were steeped overnight, then shaken and vaped in a new Vision CE4 Clearos, with standard ego batteries (650s, 1000s). I did not try these on the spinner. For as many juices I have tried, this is the first company that I like on par with Niquid (my all time fav). Blue Ice E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) Not bad. Subtle fruity flavor. I couldnt really say it was a blueberry flavor, but this one didn't go in my junk pile. Candy Cane E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 2) One of the better ones. Very much like a candy cane. Cool going in, cool going out. A repeat for me. Cinnamon Roll E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) Ecto Cooler E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) Liked it the first day. Came back to it next day and hated it. It's like drinking a bad fruit juice. Extreme Ice E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) Liked this one. Clearly a wintergreen flavor. A repeat for me. Menthol E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) Very minty. It has that menthol mint, but not really any tobacco flavor. For me, it's a repeat. Thug Juice E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 1) The worst of the order. Tasted like i ran down the perfume isle at macys with my mouth open. Venom E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 0) They claim its 'all' of their cinnamon flavors in one. I didn't like it. It does have a massive throat kick, as others had reviewed. White Out E Juice Baker Vapor (Nicotine Strength: 18 mg/ml (Medium), Blend: PG 80% VG 20% , Bottle Size: 15 ml, Extra Flavoring Shot (.25 cents per shot): 0) Like a Tic Tac. I added some menthol to take away some of the sweetness. Still on the fence if I would reorder.1 point -
Hey All
kitsune reacted to DeadHead65 for a topic
Hey everyone and anyone, figured id start here and say hello to all you fine people and tell you all a bit about me. I just started vaping 6 weeks ago which just so happens to also be the last time i picked up an "analog" bogey, Being a technology dork to begin with i have already found this to be be new hobby for me. Anyway, i stated off by going into my local tobacco shop and they sold me a NoSmoke 300...Kinda was annoyed after i found out that the company is out of business and my local tobacco store was just trying to clear their shelves of the remaining stock they had. Either way i found their carts to taste pretty bad anyway but found that i lucked out since the battery is a 510 thread. So then i went to greensmoke and found it to be a much better vaping experience and that is was got me hooked. Another week went by and did some research and went with the apollo vtube with the ce5 clearomizer I also purcheased some fruit flavors and chocolatey flavs. Funny thing was that i found the vtube to always make the ce5 taste burnt unless you run it at 3.4v or lower with a 1.7 ohm atty or 4.0 max with a 2.6 ohm. So then i tried the 510 battery from the nosmoke i originally bought with the ce5 and WOW! Thats what it is about right there!! overall it l;ooks stupid with the clearomizer on a short 510 battery but the vape is awesome! Anyway i can ramble on forever! I look forward to taking nerdy with all yall Happy vapin'!!1 point -
I just put my IGO-L together last night with the little bit of wicking supplies that came with it from Steam Monkey, he added alot extra, different story different day. So i went looking for some wick supplies, stumbled across Stormy's Vapor Cellar and they had what i was looking for in stock. It's friday i was hoping for possible shipment today if not tomorrow. I clicked submit order at 920am, received shipping notification at 927am!! Fantastic! Prices were fair and selection was great. I'll be back!1 point

Neat trick i saw regarding the AGA's. One of the youtube videos i saw, english dude making a ss U wick, anyway he removed the top two thumbscrews off the center post, replaced the middle nut with a spring, put a washer on top of that and then put the top nut on top of the washer. What this does is provide a place to capture the positive side of the coil with pressure instead of having to fiddle with those nuts. Idea was swipped off the RSST i believe. Altho im sure some ingenious vapor thought it up and it was swiped by RSST. Just thought i'd pass that along.1 point

Like Kitsune and Proetus said, I'm in the "go ahead and light one up" camp. For the first five days after I bought my first ecig I still smoked. On the fifth day I just didn't want them anymore. Then, a month or two after having vaped exclusively, I started thinking about a cigarette and couldn't get it out of my mind. Once I lit up and took about three drags that was it for me. Even now, after all this time without an analog, about a month ago I tried one just out of curiosity and was so grossed out I had to go brush my teeth and take a shower.1 point

I got my IGO-L the other day and was waiting for a few more parts before i put it together. Cleaned it up and built a sad looking coil, that came out to be 2Ω. A little higher then i wanted, but that's ok its on my 1300 Spinner for now as my Vamo is still "awaiting fulfillment" Seems to be doing well at 4.8v, monster vapes, the hole does need drilled out tho. One tip for drilling it out, go slow, light pressure and use Veggie oil as a lubricant. Gonna go hunt down some 100% cotton yarn and play with that as a wick. No dry burns, but I cant seem to find silica wicks anywhere and im not sure i want to use em anyway.1 point

HuffPost Live Debate - No E-Cigarettes Allowed
mischi3vous reacted to lindsayfox for a topic
Yes, but in this case "guilty until proven innocent". The media pretty much throws anything they can at e-cigs and expect us to prove them wrong. Is that fair? I've used an analogy known as the "Russell's Teapot" - sound familiar? Well, basically it says that the anti-e-cig crowd should be the ones providing solid evidence to support their claims against e-cigs. It's a bit long but I think it calls for a great debate: *Link removed by admin* I wrote a summary and rebuttal on the debate, in case anyone doesn't want to sit through the whole thing: *Link Removed by Admin* And if you really want to get to the bottom of the story, listen to the VP Live segment here: http://soundcloud.com/vp-live/the-fda-and-rj-reynolds-are1 point -
Husband has emphysema
Tam reacted to mischi3vous for a topic
My husband was diagnosed with early stage emphysema a few years ago and since then he's been telling me that in order for him to quit smoking I need to quit. I can't say that I was ever into the idea of quitting because to be honest I enjoyed smoking. But I bought a couple of the n-joy kits about 5 years ago and gave it a shot, needless to say that was a complete flop what I enjoyed about smoking just wasn't there. Then he was gone in Afghanistan for a few years so I didn't worry about trying to quit. He returned home about a year ago and he's being treated by the VA, well they finally gave him Chantix (I'm not so sure he really wants to quit). My daughter has a friend on facebook who was talking about this place she found local (Buckeye Vapors). I went and checked out what they had to offer..so much has changed since I bought the first n-joy's and for the better. I ended up spending almost $200 to get us both set up with stuff to start these are so much better the liquid with cartomizers is so much better than the other stuff I get the throat hit think that's what was missing before. First few days I went from 2 packs a day to 5 analogs a day had the typical sore throat for about 2 weeks woke up one morning and it was gone. My husband on the other hand, we've gone back to Buckeye Vapors and got him other flavors, stronger nicotine I've tried to explain to him about the sore throat and that if he'd just cut way back on the analogs and only use the e-cig and give it two weeks the sore throat would be gone but he doesn't believe me. I can't believe I've figured out how I can quit (the reluctant one) and he's still going at the analog cigarettes. I'm not giving up my e-cigs it's nice to be able to breath when I wake up in the morning without the stuffy head and it's easier to breath period. Wish me luck on this journey because I think it's going to be a rough one to help him get him off the analogs and onto something that will be better for him.1 point -

HuffPost Live Debate - No E-Cigarettes Allowed
lindsayfox reacted to mischi3vous for a topic
Thanks for sharing! I agree it's like our legal system innocent until proven guilty. There is more than enough proof that cigarettes are bad for you, and yet they don't ban them so why ban e-cigs? They can't be nearly as hazardous to our health as cigarettes are.1 point -

New Here! Have A Few Questions About Ecigs
daleron reacted to danpio1217 for a topic
Like Kitsune said, when you smoke, you'd take 10-15 drags over the course of a few minutes. With vaping, i prefer 1 or 2 drags every few minutes, but I pretty much vape all day long. I'll go an hour or so without if i'm out running errands or making dinner or whatever, but you get my point. Do whatever you feel comfortable with and like Mike said, just listen to your body and make sure you don't overdo it. If you're getting headaches and feel your heart beating fast, back off for awhile. And also drink lots of water. I don't mind repeating this a million times because to me, it's very important.1 point -
Welcome !! Lots of different changes come from quitting smoking and beginning vaping. both symptoms are pretty normal. LIke mike said, drink or sip more water, juice, whatever. The loose stools can be from the PG or VG in the e-liquid or a side affect of not smoking. I think most of us vape all day long. When you go out to smoke you smoke the whole cigarette--how ever many drags that may be. with vaping you take a drag intermittently all day. How much did you smoke?1 point
