I would take 3-4 batteries, 2 chargers, 5-6 clearomizers or a vivi Nova with 5 extra heads, and about 200 ml of juice. This may seem excessive but i would to prefer to have extra than not enough. back ups, back ups back ups.2 points

Velvet Vapors Sweet Tarts and Velvet Vanilla
Lyrical reacted to ninjabatgirl for a topic
Thanks for the review! Velvet Vapors is one that I've seen online but haven't ordered anything from yet.1 point -
For the record, everything about vaping is confusing in the beginning, s0 do NOT feel like you are alone!! I started on the 808 batteries with cartridges, I got bored and spent hours reading and learning.. I quickly turned my attention towards the Ego batteries, and the vivi mini novas, (1.8 ohm coil heads) and tons of juice.. Honestly, it got easier from there. I now have 8 egos, 900-1100 mAh, about 8 mini novas, and a tote full of other things that I have tried.. I wish you the best, it can be frustrating but is so much better for you in the long run. Im glad you found something that makes your decision to stay away from "analogs" easier..1 point

Smoking cigarettes was never this complicated!
Lyrical reacted to mduncan915 for a topic
Just stay strong. A lot of differnt items out there, and not all work for everyone. I know you think it is frustrating sometime, and expensive. Just compare your ecig price to cigarettes. Once you get the set up that makes you happy, you will be saving boo coo money, and be happy.1 point -
Why continue to vape after successfully quitting analogs?
Rixter reacted to mduncan915 for a topic
Some people go digital, because they like to smoke, but want a healthier, cheaper way to continue to "smoke." I have been vaping almost 2 years, and I am enjoying it more and more everyday. New flavors, etc.1 point -
Would anyone here recommend this set up?
2bsmoke4ee reacted to Krystal68 for a topic
I use the Vivi mini for my standard ego batts. I started with a 2.4 ohm coil and hated it... everything tasted burnt and like hot plastic. I found that with the 1.8 my flavors were spot on!! I had such great luck that I have since ordered SEVERAL more with a nice little collection of 1.8 replacement coils to have on hand! I do recommend the adapter, I think it offers more stabily, and is more appealing visually!1 point -
Much needed advise
DragonGunner reacted to mduncan915 for a topic
I would suggest at least 4 1300 mah batteries, prefer variable voltage. I would also go with Boge cartomizers about 10 extra cartos. I get about 3 weeks per carto. And I use 100% VG. If you chain vape like me, you will need 30 ml every 2 to 3 weeks. If you are in Tampa, there is a local company that I use a lot of their stuff. ecigpros.com. If you are planning on going to Daytona for Bike Week, I can tell you where I get mine at the Daytona Flea Market. If you want to hit me up, email me at mduncan915@gmail.com, and I will send you info. I can also call you to tell you the pros and cons of the different set ups. I have been Vaping for about 2 years now. I have learned a lot along the way.1 point -

As some of you may already know, Vapor4Life recently hosted a give-away right here on this forum where they randomly selected three posts from their thread, , and…you guessed it…I was one of the lucky winners. In #entry149997 of that thread, I stated that if I won, I’d test and review the PV, and then give it to someone deserving. That’s going to be pretty hard to do (the giving away part) because it’s truly a very good device. V4L Automatic Dial-A-Volt 1100mAh I have used automatic e cigs in the past, but was turned off by the fact that you usually have to give them a little “primer” puff first to get things heated up enough to enjoy your vape. I suppose that’s because the standard 3.7 volts that the typical auto battery provides wasn’t able to instantly heat things up properly, but with the 1100mAh V4L Dial-A-Volt being a variable voltage PV (3.2-4.8v), a primer puff really isn’t necessary. I set mine to 4.2 volts, screwed on a 2Ω carto filled with EC Blend’s DK-555, and enjoyed a great vape that was just south of 9 watts…no preheating needed. The auto switch activates the circuit instantly when you start taking a draw, and keeps the circuit firing until you stop pulling air through it. It is without a doubt the best quality auto switch I’ve ever encountered. The Dial-A-Volt performed just as well as my eGo-style manual batteries, and I eventually got used to the fact that this thing has no button (didn’t stop me from continuously looking for one, though). It’s kind of nice to be able to have a vape in the middle of the night without having to feel for a button in the dark. This feature will almost certainly come in handy where stealth vaping is required. I keep a PV in my shirt pocket while at work (where vaping is prohibited because my boss thinks it’s…wait for it…“a fire hazard”!?!). I always have to feel for a button when I want to sneak a toke without removing it from my pocket. That, my friends, is over with if you use an auto Dial-A-Volt. The next thing I’d like to mention is the quality of the voltage adjustment dial. Like it’s predecessors, the eGo-C Twist and Vision Spinner, changing the voltage on the Dial-A-Volt is accomplished by turning a dial situated on the bottom of the device. Unlike the aforementioned PVs, the action on the Dial-A-Volt’s dial is as smooth as silk. It’s easy to turn, but not so easy that it’ll move around while pocketed. It’s instantly apparent that V4L incorporated a very high quality potentiometer into this PVs design. With the Twists/Spinners, the dials sometimes have “tight” spots in their rotation that makes them feel cheaper by comparison. The only think negative that I can say about the V4L Automatic Dial-A-Volt is that it has a KR808D-1 thread pattern. I don’t know why they don’t offer one with a 510 or an eGo threading, which are much more prevalent on today’s vaping scene, but this one’s strictly an 808 affair…for now, anyway. In Vapor4Life’s defense, they do offer a decent selection of 808 juicers. All in all, I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised with the Dial-A-Volt. Good job, V4L, and thanks for the contest.1 point

I would just like to personally thank blucavvy for starting this thread. This is my favorite thread at VT because it's the place where I can get info on what works and what's being bought. I can see from the thread count that I'm not alone. Thanks, blu!1 point

As posted in "" : After vaping nothing but Dulcis through a dual-coil 1½Ω 306 atomizer at 15 watts (7½ watts per coil) a little today and a lot this evening, I have to say that of all the desert vapes I've tried, this just might be my favorite one yet. I don't even know if Dulcis is supposed to be categorized as an RY4-styled e-liquid, because it doesn't seem to project "Vanilla" like other RY4s typically do. It does have the "Caramel" needed to be grouped in the RY4 box, but it's really a different animal altogether. For me, Dulcis tastes like a really rich, warm, caramel-marinated medium-dark tobacco blend with lots of flavor. It is not wimpy on the tobacco, either...that part stands right out in the mix. The sweet caramel is also recognizably apparent from the beginning of the draw and stays put right through to the end. As I mentioned earlier, "Vanilla" did not seem to be a component of this juice, but honestly, it wasn't missed at all. In fact, even though the flavor gives you the impression of vaping a really good RY4, the lack of vanilla is a definite plus for Dulcis in that it makes it stand out in a crowd. It's bold without being too complicated. Good stuff. I will be ordering more of this for a fact. I hope there will be some bigger bottles available because I think a well-steeped 50 ml. bottle of Dulcis would be a real treat. Oh, yeah...at an unusually light (for me) nicotine level of 16 mg., Dulcis packs one hell of a throat hit, too. This is a really good vape...VT gets a "Gold Star" on this one.1 point

@Uma I have a tote with drawers and they are stuffed so full it is difficult to open, SO... I will also be purchasing a larger tote, with bigger drawers.. haha You can come over for a party anytime! (I'll prolly have even more by then!) @Mega Poster: I'm not only hooked- I have become addicted.. in a good way, I think!! I have always suffered from obsessive compulsive disorder, (vacuum, dust and clean glass 2ce a day, count my steps that sort of thing,) But now some of the cleaning waits, cause now... I must shop for new juices!! If I find something I like, I get two! Thank goodness I can afford this new habit, and as a single mom, I dont have to answer to anyone but my widdle self!!1 point
