You all are awesome! Uma you should get the wrap! I'll take a pic of mine once it comes in so you can see it! Gotta admit, I'm pretty excited about it! I'm a loser I know.2 points

Um...no? Isn't it so that you don't burn your lips off when you stove pipe it?1 point

As many times as I've gotten juice in my mouth I, too, prefer to just remove the drip tip and drip directly into the atomizer. Especially using the long universal drip tip, it's easy to take off the tip to drip...1 point

They're at the top of my wish list for next payday's shopping trip. I'm excited too lol.1 point

As long as you can pull the wick out without a struggle it should be just fine. Is the wick solid or hollow? Some people love both. I tend to build hollow wicks. Just trial and error really.1 point

I picked up the washers at Lowes. It was a 5 pack and cost $1.08. Can't go wrong, they are SS as well.1 point

Thank you! That's 30 gauge kanthal. I think it meters around 1.4-1.5 ohm. Running great with the additions of the washers. I've run about 5-6 tanks on it.1 point

Rixter nailed it. I just stick the positive probe in the center hole and hold the negative on the threads. This is sometimes easier said than done though, good luck! I would lay them down and maybe find something to keep them from rolling around on you. Makes you wanna bash your face in if they won't stay still. lol1 point

I would recommend a boge LR (2.0ohm) carto for that. They work great. With the low resistance coil in it the lower power pushed by that ego battery is plenty. I'm glad you are enjoying it. Is it working as well as your starter kit I hope?1 point

Have you tried running small washers on this center post to prevent the top coil hot spots? Uma gave me this idea and it is a wonderful fix for any top coil hot spots. My wick used to lean similar to what yours is doing but not now. Uma recommends M2.5 which I could not find right away but I did find M3. They work just as well I believe. Here are the pics to get an idea of how I've got my AGA-T+ setup.1 point

I would stay away from polycarbonate tanks using those juices. Pyrex, SS, and polypropelene(sp?) should all be safe and maybe pmma (?) I don't know for sure about that one. Heard good things about it.1 point

Those are cheap. Thanks rixter. I will get some in the future.1 point
-
I don't know what resistance level you're looking for , but here are some pre-punched LR (~1.6Ω) Boge F16 poly-filled single-coil tank cartos that worked well for me, and they're cheap, too. For other pre-punched tank cartos, try here or here. All of the tank cartos at those links have tank flanges on the bottom.1 point

vision spinner question
Jeffb reacted to ninjabatgirl for a topic
It normally does that when you're holding the button in longer than 15 seconds. You don't want to do that because it drains the battery and for me it gave me a burnt taste.1 point -
How did you fill these? Did you use the condom method and then let it sit for a while before vaping? I've found that I fill from the bottom and top and let sit for 30 minutes before vaping. I don't get the burnt taste that way.1 point

5 x 1.5Ω CE2 tank cartos & a wood-grained big-belly drip tip from Hoosier E-Cig, a tie-dyed custom Vision Spinner 1300mAh wrap (surprise for the wife) from Vapor Skinz, and 30 ml. of IKV RY4 PG Gold from IkenVape.1 point

Hello everybody. First post here. Just started vaping less than a month ago...quitting smoking. Started out with a few egos purchased in Greece and stopped smoking for about 10 days with 2 clearomizer but it stopped working and went back to analogs until I got home (Los Angeles) and went back to vaping. Taking it overseas (reason for a lot of stuff) to last a while. Where I live (Qatar) no vaping products available (except the odd posting in the local classifieds) Here is what I got. Vapor 4 Life 4 x 1300mah DAV batteries 6 x Chargers 2 x 3.5ml dct 2 x 6.5ml dct 2 x stealth vapor king (1 auto & 1 manual)(for discreet vaping) 6 x box of 5 cartos (blank) 95 x replacement cartos for tanks And about 500ml of various juices RAWR About 200ml of juices GotVapes About 200ml of juices Ucann juice dispenser Some adapters Vapor Spit (retail store in Los Angeles) 1 x itaste MVP 2 x vivi nova 20 x replacement atomizers for vivi Various drip tips and adapters About 400ml juices (various) Aroma eJuice 120ml of WTA juice (honey cured tobacco) So far I like mixing a tobacco flavor with menthol with some fruit. (60 tobacco/20 menthol/20 peach). Liked pure tobacco in the beginning but getting to like some other flavors. Had some advice from the nice people at the V4L forum that I might get sick to the tobacco flavor as well) Mount Olympus Ordered a few adapters from here but the package has not arrived. They don't reply to emails or telephone and their website is down. (Anyone know what's going on with them?). Leaving in a few days. Good thing I just ordered some adapters. Trying to have backups for backups. The DAV batteries last about 4 hours for me so need to carry 2 outside. Will use the itaste at home or office. Even bought a friend 3 ego batteries (1 ego-c and 2 ego-t)and 2 kanger mt3 with some juice to vape with while I am here and he could quit smoking as well. He seems ok with it for 3 days now. Will probably pick up a few more things before I leave at the local store in Los Angeles. Prices are high but they do have overhead and I don't have to worry about getting delivery before I leave. Don't have the luxury of getting new flavors for about a year (maybe 9 months) so will have to vape what I have. Would like to purchase a provari next time but we will see...1 point

Congrats! I can't wait to say this for myself. ._. I'm down to one analog a day, which, I know I can do better than that. Either way, I wish you luck in getting that pack framed!1 point

The effective heat will change due to crud building up on the element and insulating it.The resistance might change due to the liquid conducting current as the liquid would have a lower resistance than the element, but there would be little heating effect just current drained away from the element. But those effects would not cause you to get an errant reading on a new device that is dry.I don't bother trying to figure it out I just go with what worx and when it don't I change out for fresh stuff.1 point

I know i'm not the most experienced in the world of vaping but i can't let this conversation slide by without a head-nod to the knucklehead drip tips. Especially nice for me since i have one of the bigger mods out there. I was surprised to see more vapor was exhaled when i first used it.1 point

Dang, the Black Mamba is nice too. I think you've talked me into getting both!1 point

HOW TO CHOOSE THE E CIGARETTE
yundoo002 reacted to danpio1217 for a topic
Agreed, a sample pack is def. gonna be the way to go, cuz you probably won't like what you think you'll like, and even then your tastes will likely change after being off smokes for a couple weeks1 point -
That is a trick question. There are no cigerettes in a 10 ml bottle of eliquid. That is why we vape it.Doesn't really make a lot of difference ,just vape until you are satisfied and then put it away.1 point
-
LOL Jeffb, and quite true. Newbies don't inhale as deeply, don't take as long of draws of their eCigs. Why? Because their lungs are still too full of tar buildup. They'll be lucky to go through 3ml a day for the first week or so. The experienced vaper, one whose lungs have healed, can take those longer needed draws. Their draws now are almost equal to a real cigarette. They still, however, find it difficult to take a deep inhale like they did with their smokes, so they vape a little more often instead. The experienced Vaper will go through a good 3-6ml a day on average. This, of course, depends upon their delivery system. Sometimes 1ml of that is wasted in piddle puddles on the battery connection, etc... With that said, the Average ex 2 pad smoker now Experienced Vaper vaping 5ml a day to achieve the same nirvana as their 2pad habit, can say that 10 ml of juice equals roughly 80 cigarettes. But then, I don't do math, so I could be oh so wrong. I know I'm wrong. You know those 5 out of 4 people who can't do math right? I'm one of the 5.1 point

I think there are 240 cigs in a 10ml bottle of 24mg..... Give or take 1001 point
