  1. As the title says, it was one month ago today I received my eGo kit, and have never looked back. I still have the half pack of Camel Wides that I was smoking while waiting for the mailman to arrive. If I make it a year, I'll be framing them, LOL!!! In celebration, I got myself a little present....I took the next step, and bought an eGo Twist, which arrived today. Holy Crap, I think I need to reduce my nicotine content, as just a few puffs left me buzzing. As pbusardo says, "NOW I get it," LOL!! Here's to another month of no smoking!!

  2. Hello everybody. First post here. Just started vaping less than a month ago...quitting smoking. Started out with a few egos purchased in Greece and stopped smoking for about 10 days with 2 clearomizer but it stopped working and went back to analogs until I got home (Los Angeles) and went back to vaping. Taking it overseas (reason for a lot of stuff) to last a while. Where I live (Qatar) no vaping products available (except the odd posting in the local classifieds) Here is what I got. Vapor 4 Life 4 x 1300mah DAV batteries 6 x Chargers 2 x 3.5ml dct 2 x 6.5ml dct 2 x stealth vapor king (1 auto & 1 manual)(for discreet vaping) 6 x box of 5 cartos (blank) 95 x replacement cartos for tanks And about 500ml of various juices RAWR About 200ml of juices GotVapes About 200ml of juices Ucann juice dispenser Some adapters Vapor Spit (retail store in Los Angeles) 1 x itaste MVP 2 x vivi nova 20 x replacement atomizers for vivi Various drip tips and adapters About 400ml juices (various) Aroma eJuice 120ml of WTA juice (honey cured tobacco) So far I like mixing a tobacco flavor with menthol with some fruit. (60 tobacco/20 menthol/20 peach). Liked pure tobacco in the beginning but getting to like some other flavors. Had some advice from the nice people at the V4L forum that I might get sick to the tobacco flavor as well) Mount Olympus Ordered a few adapters from here but the package has not arrived. They don't reply to emails or telephone and their website is down. (Anyone know what's going on with them?). Leaving in a few days. Good thing I just ordered some adapters. Trying to have backups for backups. The DAV batteries last about 4 hours for me so need to carry 2 outside. Will use the itaste at home or office. Even bought a friend 3 ego batteries (1 ego-c and 2 ego-t)and 2 kanger mt3 with some juice to vape with while I am here and he could quit smoking as well. He seems ok with it for 3 days now. Will probably pick up a few more things before I leave at the local store in Los Angeles. Prices are high but they do have overhead and I don't have to worry about getting delivery before I leave. Don't have the luxury of getting new flavors for about a year (maybe 9 months) so will have to vape what I have. Would like to purchase a provari next time but we will see...

    Help, please

Okay people...I am overwhelmed. I purchased a RIVA starter kit after I previously had tried the KR 808D1---neither of which I see much about on my research here. I like the RIVA better because it seems to have more vapor. However...I'm trying to see if I can find "atomized cartridges" online to get a better price. But it is so hard for me to figure out what kind as I don't see any specs for the cartidges that came with my kit---just the nicotine level. In reading the teenie tiny brochure that came with the RIVA, it does say that the RIVa power supply is "the EGo powered by a 3.7 V-750 Mah power supply. That is not helping me either although I read everybody talking about EGos. Seriously, I feel like I'm trying to buy a new computer. Plus the RIVA has a cone tube? thing that fits over the cartridge---does that thing serve any purpose? So can someone just tell me what kind of atomizer cartridge I need for this thing and if the cone tube serves any purpose? Someday I would like to understand what eliquid is all about but for now, I think I'm only able to handle finding cartridges that will work. Thank you, thank you.

  7. In short, the best juice out there is the one that keeps you off analogs for good....and that's all I have to say about that!!! :p

  16. For custom blends like you're talking about, I'd say go to EC Blend and pick yourself out a traditional tobacco-flavored e juice that suits you, and then just add menthol (or cool shot) to taste. Or you might want a little more control over your mix than that, in which case you could "Create Your Own" menthol e-liquid. With discount code "10020", it's just two bucks for a 5 ml. sample bottle + shipping (cheap).

  18. This past two months with as unpredictable as my days have been I've just taken to carrying six batteries with me at all times so I can switch them out when one dies. That's probably why my purse weighs so much! Yeah, I can definitely see benefits to carrying only one or two batteries but knowing how much of a charge is left in the main.

    One Month Analog-Free!

Congrats! Here's to many more months and happy vaping! I still have five packs of unopened Marlboro Lights in my fridge as a reminder of how much I love vaping instead. Lol.

  21. Only 6-feet?? (Sorry..but when you own a Burm, anything under 10 seems kinda small ) I love my red tail...he's also about 6-feet. Glad you found yours a good home, though. Too many owners do irresponsible things with their Exotics, and that is all too sad for both the animals, and the exotic pet industry.

  23. Show of hands... ...how many of you have been out somewhere just a'vapin' away without a care in the world , and all of a sudden, that ol' button goes to flashin', and guess what...you're good time just came to a screeching halt (without any warning whatsoever)? And it's really not your fault, either. Heck, you thought you had enough charge left...if only there was some way to know how much charge was left so you could plan accordingly. That's what I love about these eGo VVs...they still feel & perform like an eGo, but they have better features (IMO), and it's a pass-through (those of you who know me know why that's a big deal for me ).

  26. Congrats on taking the first step, and welcome to VaporTalk!!! If you're a pack-a-day smoker, I'd recommend around 18mg strength overall, and 24mg for those times you cannot vape for more than an hour between sessions. Though, I was about 15 cigs per day, I started at 26mg, and progressed quickly down to 12mg for my all-day vape. Everyone's experience and needs are different....YMMV. Generally, I'd suggest doing some research, and getting sample sets from a few different vendors, and finding what you like before going all-in on 30ml of juice. Hope this helps!!
