Yeah, it did seem a little odd, but in their defense, I did ask them if they wanted me to send it back once they told me they'd ship out a replacement. To be honest, I kinda figured they'd say, "Nah...it's our bad...just keep it". Surely they won't resell it. It sort of creeps me out now that I think about a juice vendor taking returns. *ATTENTION JUICE VENDORS* In the future, if you send the wrong product to a customer, it's probably a good idea to just write it off and fast-ship the right product to them. *THAT IS ALL*4 points

TVR juice order arrived!!! Got the 6ml taster 5-pack with Ginger's RY4, French vanilla, red bull, sweet watermelon, and vanilla coffee. Also got my free first-time customer 15ml bottle of Ginger's RY4 (mse12 better be right about how good this stuff is, LOL), and they gave me a free 3ml bottle of raspberry. All liquids are 50/50 blend in 12mg strength. Let the steeping begin!!!3 points -

Call me paranoid, but I've often wondered what juices that crack tanks do to your lungs. I'm just sayin'...2 points

I'm about to save you time, juice, money, and a headache. Check out valley vapes. This guy makes tanks that use grommets instead of caps and I swear they are the best thing out there. You're probably thinking, oh no way they'll leak or they'll slide all over the place. They don't period. Seriously I was at my wits end trying to force the punched cartos into the end caps and filling was just bs. They have tanks as cheap as $7.99 and up to 25 for Pyrex if that's what you want. Get one with the side fill and you're going to be happy. I don't work for them or anything just a very happy customer. You will not be disappointed at all. I've used them for several months now and would never go back to a standard tank. I hope you will check them out, seriously no leaks and no fighting at all. Edit: I use the standard length boges and the grommets are not affected by the shape that results from punching. I'm sure you could use anything in them with great results. I have two of these tanks currently and on Friday I will be getting at least two more. I only have the economy polypro 3ml ones but I'm planning on getting a jumbo polypro and a Pyrex sidewinder.2 points

I rotate my 3 RBA's (DID20, Gemini, Mini DID) all day every day. They each have a different juice in them. Tobacco, beverage, fruit. For awhile, before I got the Gemini to add to my other 2, I used a Viva Nova thingie, but the little piddler is resting in peace now.2 points

Well, my first plunge into VV vaping was the eGo Twist, not saying anything bad about it, the Twist is a great device and I have backed eGo from the day I bought my first 510. I purchased the eGo 1000mah VV battery and I must say it was quite long! Put a big tank on it and it’s a bit oversized for me! Now on to the Vision Spinner, I bought the 1300mah VV and the Spinner is a bit different, for one thing it is a fatter battery so the length is shorter than a standard eGo 1000 batt but with more power! The size is about 112mm length by 17mm diameter. Charging time is roughly 4 hours and I vape it at 4.3 to 4.8 volts most of the time and it’s giving me around 12 hours vaping time. It also has the 5 click shut off and offers 3 kinds of protection. Short Circuit Protection: When short circuit happens, the battery will shut down and not function again until short circuit is removed. Safety Cutoff/Atomizer Protection: If you press the button for 8 seconds, the battery will be locked until the next press. Low Voltage Protection: When the battery voltage is lower than 3.3v, the battery will shut down. Voltage ranges from 3.3 to 4.8 and coupled with a Vision Vivi Nova it is one nice little vaping machine. This would be a great set up for any noobie or even a vet who would like a simple no fuss VV device.1 point

Hello.....new to eCigs
Synther reacted to scootersite for a topic
Hi, Just started a month ago with some disposable ecigs and I'm looking for some help to purchase a starter pack. My first impression is that there's a lot of stuff to become familiar with. I fell like I should take a class. Ohms & coils, & carts & attys............WOW! I've bought a bunch of different disposables which ranged from very satisfying to garbage. Of the disposables, my favorite by far was the natural tobacco "Blu" gigs but they're inconsistent as hell. One cig might taste great and last 2 days while the next one might taste like air and only last a couple of hours. At least to start I'd like the simplest kit that has as close to an anolog experience (size & taste) as possible. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Doug1 point -
Absolutely nothing. It's a chemical reaction between plastic and chemicals in the juice. One of them being citric acid. You leave orange juice (the drink) in a tank long enough it'll do the same thing, yet we still drink it. Unless your lungs are made of plastic you're perfectly fine. It's literally the same as drinking a glass of OJ.1 point

Sampler packs?
Tam reacted to CascadianExotics for a topic
TVR has a couple of sampler packages, as well as some pretty good deals. Plus, new customers get a free 15ml bottle of whatever you want, and they'll throw in a free 3ml bottle of something with every purchase. Kinda hard to go wrong with that. Though, it's really easy to go overboard with the juice order... http://www.thevaporroom.net1 point -
bloog 4 auto batteries, personal charger, and some vanilla e-juice to try came in today. Woohoo...now I just need more empty cartos *lol*1 point

Yes they are the same just with a metal outer layer. I love the MT3's, I use them on my big battery PV's and I use CE4's on my ego style batteries. I also use a Vivi Nova tank quite a bit. They all perform similarly. The MT3 gives slightly truer flavor and I don't need to tip the MT3 when my juice gets low. I've considered going with them instead of CE4's but they tend to leak slightly when they start running low whereas the CE4's don't.1 point

Carto Tanks giving me fits
Rixter reacted to danpio1217 for a topic
Got the tank filler tip. Prepunched could be the solution tho. I'm also gonna try picking up some new inner o-rings for the 2 tanks that are giving me the most trouble. I've got plenty of gear to keep me vapin happily, so its by no means an emergency, i just still love my boges1 point -
This is the second time I've heard of a vendor requesting juice to be shipped back. I ask myself why would they possibly want this product returned? They can't or shouldn't resale it. They are losing time and money asking for it's return. I don't get it. Why can't they just ask for a picture of the defective product and just leave it there? I had a cherry vapes drip tip crack once and all they asked for was a picture showing the cracks and they replaced it no questions. It's no big deal but I just don't get why they want it back....?1 point

Awesome! It looks like they are using different nuts on the positive post compared to what came with mine. My unit shipped with 3 small nuts that each have vertical grips cut in them. It looks like that picture is two larger knurled nuts. Hmm I may have to play Frankenstein and use the larger nuts off of my AGA-S. Hmm, the washers though is a great idea! I will try that out for sure! Thanks for the picture!1 point

I know this doesn't answer you question about punching cartos, but you should try these out. I've completely ditched poly-filled cartos since trying my first SmokTech CE2 tank carto, and I've yet to have the first leak or gurgle. They come in 1.5Ω DC, 2Ω DC, and 3Ω SC, and shipping is fast. I've been using them for weeks now and have zero complaints. If you wanna stick with the Boges, though, you can get five pre-punched Boge 2Ω or 3Ω single-coil tank cartos (regular or XL) from Sweet Vapes for $7.95 + shipping, or five Boge 1.6Ω F16 single-coil tank cartos from Sure Vapes for $5.99 shipped. I'm sure that there are plenty of other vendors selling pre-punched Boges...those were just the first two that came to mind. One more thing. I find that using a tank filler drip tip makes inserting the carto through the internal tank o-rings a lot easier. It also helps when it's time to remove the tank from the carto because it gives you something to push against. Oh, yeah...it makes filling your tank a cinch.1 point

I've gotta check out this White Rose Club since i'm a fellow South-Central-Pennsylvanian. I'm new to vaping and feeling lucky/grateful the local region has a vaping club. It's awesome that even two years later, Brandon's memory is honored by the club's continued existence. Hope to see you all next month!1 point

I just opened my package from Janty, which was supposed to contain one 15 ml. bottle of Elixir RY4 PG 24 mg. It did not. It contained one 15 ml. bottle of Elixir RY4 VG 24 mg. I never buy 100% VG any more because it doesn't have the same strong taste or throat hit that PG offers, but while the flavor is great, it's really weak. This juice packs one hell of a throat hit, however, and produces some of the thickest vapor I've ever seen! I emailed Janty and let them know about the mix up, so I'm hoping that they'll send me out the PG version quickly. *UPDATE* I just got off the phone with a very nice lady (with a very British accent) from Janty. She was very apologetic and told me that they will ship out a bottle of Elixir RY4 PG straight away. They are including a return envelope for me to send the wrong product back in.1 point

Good news MSE! Pixlejuice gave me permission to post his/her washer pic here. He/she is looking for the info for the right size o-ring he used on his "S" model. He/she said it came off another RBA that wasn't in use at the moment. Notice how the washers now act as an extender of the center positive post. It's almost like we've moved the center post closer to the wick, like a good little atty should be. The wire is now just a tad bit showing in between the mesh and the new positive post current.1 point
