For those of you T3 users experiencing dry hits, try this advice from Steve K from his "Kanger T3 Bottom Coil eGo Clearomizer Review" : "I found in pretty short order, the T3 would give dry hits if I didn’t wait a sufficient amount of time for the coil to re-wick. This was frustrating as I tend to prefer to vape several times in a row. Fortunately, it turns out there’s a pretty simple modification that can be made to the gaskets to improve liquid absorption and eliminate much of the dry hits. I can’t take credit for this one, a hat tip goes to the good folks over on Reddit. Unscrew the bottom cap. Remove the gasket that sits on the top of the atomizer, flip the gasket over so the flat side is covering the wicks and replace the gasket. Apparently the gasket in the stock configuration compresses the wicks when the two parts are screwed together. Flipping the gasket keeps it from moving down over the wicks and does not appear to cause additional leaking problems. Once the hack was in place, I found the T3 much more tolerant to chain vaping. Occasionally, I had to slow down and wait for a few bubbles to appear from the atomizer area. However, those moments were fairly few and far between. Vapor production was already very good, so I can’t really tell if there were any improvements there. I also ran into no additional flooding or gurgling problems in this configuration." I hope this helps.4 points

This is how nice this couple is (Hubby is the "chemist" and wifey takes care of customer service)... I told them that I was after a tobacco flavor with a sweetness to it.... He said: I have my own mix of Honey-Tobacco; here's a 10ml bottle; take it home and have at it. Some time next week, if you have time and want to make an afternoon out of it; just pop in and we'll get to mixing some flavors until we get your mix just right... After that; we'll keep the recipe and every time you want some more just call me ahead of time and I'll have your bottle(s) ready when you show up. The bottle he gave me is awesome by itself, but I do want to go back there and maybe ask him to put a drop or two of something with a bit of spice to it (maybe some cinnamon or some nutmeg) That would make this flavor just perfect for what I'm after and might even make for a nice base to make Clove. Every time I take a hit of it right now; I get a bit of a "flashback" to when I smoked Djarums... I think all it's missing is the spicy kick after the sweetness... I'm sure he'll get me there next week. Perfect timing for a meet that's going to happen on the 27th at a local bar. I was like...2 points

I posted this earlier in a thread called "", but I figured it would do more good in a thread by itself. I couldn't disagree more. The fact is that 8 watts is 8 watts is 8 watts...no matter how you get there. I've done side-by-side comparisons over and over again, and there simply is no detectable difference. Take two identical VV batteries and put a Boge 2Ω carto on one set to 4v, and put a Boge 3Ω carto on the other one set to 4.9v, and vape the two rigs side by side. They taste the same, they sound the same, they vape the same, they consume juice the same. I've done it too many times to believe otherwise. There is nothing magic about it...it's simply V² / R = P...nothing more.1 point

So today; I'm driving to a client's house for a Math tutoring session and I realize that I'm running low on battery and my last carto is almost dry (I'm still on a V2 starter kit until the eGo I ordered comes in)... So while waiting at a red light; I punch e-cig, vape store into my GPS and it brings ONE result. Luckily this shop is located about a block away from my client's home. I stepped on the gas and made my way there with about 40 minutes to spare, I walk into the shop and the owner and his wife are puffing away at their leisure. I asked them if they had any empty 808 cartos for my V2 and bought a few of them. We then started talking about vaping, juices, mods and all that good stuff. All in all; I spent 40 minutes in the store, just shooting the proverbial "you-know-what". They pulled out a tray of juices, a Lavatube, a Provari and an eGo twist and let me go to town on them. Never tried to sell me anything, never even tried to push any of their juice on me. We just talked and had a grand time puffing away. I left the place with a bunch of empty cartos, a 10ml bottle of honey-tobacco (their own mix) and they even recharged my battery while I puffed away on one or their eGos. I don't know if this is allowed or not, and if it isn't; I'm sorry. But I'm a firm believer in giving credit when credit is due... And the couple at Boca Vapes deserve credit. They're the definition of a mom-n-pop shop (literally), their service is incredible and they have a nice selection of juices (they make their own mixes). The honey-tobacco juice I got from them tastes amazing by the way. So if you're ever in South Florida (Boca Raton area) do pay them a visit. Only thing I regret is that in the haze of all that vaping; I forgot to ask their names, but that's OK; I have to drive up there twice a week so I'll see them again next week for more fun. So there; not all B&Ms are bad. You just have to get lucky and stumble into one where the people running it are as, or more, into vaping than you are. Seebs1 point

Make sure you post in the vendor reviews....stuff like this is priceless to the community. We all want to know what/who we're dealing with before we give away money for sub-par service. Experiences like this make or break a company IMO.1 point

Yes. Got them in and have tried two of the three and they both worked flawlessly. Just tried playing with the gasket to see if it made a difference and it did -- just not in a positive way so I put them back the way they came.1 point

He's talking about facing the gasket in the other direction (open end towards the mouthpiece) so it can't compress the wicks.1 point

Okay, I have a stupid question. The gasket he's talking about is cup shaped, yes? So you just turn it over so the cup part sits on top of the wick or does he mean you take the cup shaped gasket and turn it inside out and then replace in the same way it was originally? I've read his instructions several times and I'm still not sure... It could also be that my brain is toast and no matter how many times I read it, it's not going to make sense to me tonight.1 point

The reason why I had six eGo 650 passthroughs when I joined this forum is because of my local B&M store. The owner is great! I still buy everything I can from him. The only reason why I go online is because his selection is very limited. I even turned him on to Empire Mods' drip shields and the universal drip tip. Although he has a huge selection of e-liquid flavors (all 40 PG/60 VG and 24 mg nic), I don't like any of them other than the Mojito flavor, which is why I buy that in 125 ml bottles. There are some great B&M stores as well as some not so great. I'm just very lucky to have one in my area.1 point

I could not agree more... There are a ton of eTailers out there that do provide us with a great service and I've purchased from a couple of them already... But there is nothing like walking into a place and having the owner just treat you like your royalty even if he knows you're not going to spend more than $20 in spare cartos and some juice... These guys are going to get plenty of business from me for sure. Not that I won't purchase online... There are certain juices that I can only get on-line and some mods that the local store would never carry, but for the spare battery replacement, a tank here and there and juice made locally from all natural products... I'm going to them. Nice couple, nice stock of juices, very affordable prices and superb service... You can't ask for more.1 point

Madvapes.com has really good prices on 50 ml. bottles of my favorite juice, Dekang DK-TAB, but only sells 24 mg. (too strong for me...most days), 11 mg. (too weak for me...any day), and 0-nic. 3 parts 24 mg. + 1 part 0-nic = 18 mg., which is what I prefer.1 point

In a shorthand version type of way, I do Jeff, lol. There's no gaps, they look like one solid piece, from the mod to the atty. (because they are!) It's an RBA & a mechanical mod, joined at the hip. The joining locks the two together, omitting the need for a regular finnicky 510 connection. Because there is now a solid unifying unit, this means that the mod/atty work together more efficiently. There is no loss of current, the volt drop is miminalized, and the overall vape is just lovely. Cons: If you have a broken button or a bad atty day (can't seem to get rid of a hot spot in your coils or something), you can't use the mod at all, it just becomes a paperweight until you figure out that short or until you fix the broken button or whatever is ailing your device. Solution: Make sure you have extra mod or two that you actually love using, and, of course, some extra RBA's to tinker with. One always needs backups. Once you have backups, once you know have the RBA mastered (which is really simple, honest!!, it's just frustrating at first), it's a no-brainer to own a hybrid. Some of the most popular to date: Orion V2 or is it V3 or both? Orion V in any case. Ihybrid brand new to the market this year, very nice affordable aluminum mod. The limited Red Dragon edition is the most popular, but they're all nice. Can be found at 310vapers Hellfire is the most coveted... there are only a few out there. Put this in your dream list. Zenesis has quite a few models out, but most of them are "limited" editions. (Cobalt, Bam, etc) However, the Standard and the Mini are always available when they are available. The MINI is the better out of the two. (they're heavy!) The Sidewinder is new and is a big hit as far as I know. electronicstix is selling them I believe. SilverDog is brand new to the market, and is getting the quirks and kinks ironed out still. But once ironed out, it's going to be a bigger hit, because it's the easiest out of all of them to refill. There are tons more out there, I've just skimmed the surface!!! And now we have the Hybrid KITS!! MMVapors is coming out with a HYBRID KIt. yep. A Kit. Actually, 2 different hybrid kits. One allows us to turn our DID's into a Hybrid (DID is an RBA by MMVapors) The other one lets us turn the Poldiac into a Hybrid (with any RBA I believe). HyDID and a PolDID or visa versa. Clear as mud?1 point

Ive been vaping Chinese juice for 3 years and haven't noticed anything weird1 point
-
Well, my list is long... 1. Honesty. If you are just re-branding some Chinese battery that has been on the market for eons, don't try to tell me that this is "new and improved" just because you changed the threads and possibly offer colors that no one else has...AND if you are selling me juice that has a "use by date" that has already passed, don't charge me full price and not tell me that this juice is 2-3 years old. Tell me that I am buying old juice and that you are trying to dump inventory. I will respect you more for your honesty. If I discover that you have lied to me, I cannot trust anything you say in the future". And, if you are discontinuing a juice line, be HONEST...just because YOU don't tell us, doesn't mean WE don't know...doing so makes you look dishonest and unreliable. Be aware of your client base, and what they are doing...if the client used to spend $200-500 a month for several months in a row, and then, suddenly their orders drop to a bottle of juice every month or two...you need to find out whats going on,,, that $200-500 went to another vendor...unless, of course, you have so many clients that losing big orders don't bother you...why has your forum gone from a vibrant, busy site to nothing but spammer posts? You have a problem... 2. Don't discount your clients intelligence...some of us have owned our own businesses, some have been employed in marketing, purchasing and every other aspect of business...the other thing to understand is that when you hire a new employee, you get what you pay for. Customer service, shipping, fulfillment are YOUR face to the customer. The best customer service is forthe customer not to need customer service! If you hire a warehouse/shipping employee at $10/hour versus one at $12/hour, you are "saving" $80,plus taxes, etc...but what is it costing you? When I order from you, and the $10 guy makes a mistake on EVERY order I make...I will eventually take my business to the vendor who hired the $12 guy, who ALWAYS gets my order right the FIRST time...you may have "saved" $80, but how many $100 orders did you lose? 3. Batteries..be upfront that the battery you offer is 350 mAH. Beauty works for a while, but, again, we aren't stupid, we will catch on eventually...and we will eventually realize that one one 900 mAH ego works 2-3 times longer than the pretty little batt we paid triple the price for! And speaking of price...if you copy an ego, rebrand it and now call it ID, it's still an EGO...we aren't so dumb that we will pay $40 for an ID, when everyone else sells an EGO for $20...being honest about what you are selling, giving a good price is MUCH more important than focusing only "battery longevity". Most of us realize a 1100mah batt will last longer than a 350 mAH battery...and th batteries have their uses. I own a little 350 mAH "mini ego" that I use when I go out and want to stealth vape...but at home, I want my tube batt with the 18650 batteries. EVERYONE wants "longer battery life, bigger carto capacity, better throat hit, flavor and big, huge vapor...I can't think of one Vaper I know that seeks a carto that doesn't hold enough juice which as awful flavor and has no vapor...like, DUH! 4. Offer a wide selection. Not all vapers want a stick batt that looks like a cigarette, nor do all vapers want a difficult rebuildable. The products you offer should be easy to use, work "right out of the box" and give us "good value". Some of us want just cartos, or clearos...others want expensive rebuildables...the vapers. Have talked to have one wish: to be able to have one vendor that offers EVERYTHING they need...they really don't like shopping at 5-6 vendors to get their batteries, cartos, tanks, wicks, mesh, and juice. We seek that ONE shop that has everything...and the ability to tell the vendor "I sure wish you would carry Kanthal and..." Be responsive to your clientele, and you will win their loyalty. Be sure to offer QUALITY products at a reasonable cost. Perhaps carry the unique works from modders who offer quality driptips, tanks and batteries. Serve the needs of the gadget geek! 5. Not all of us want 70/30 juice. I only patronize vendors who allow me to order "Juice X, 50mg bottle of 50/50, 16mg, extra flavor". Not everyone wears a size 5 shoe....offer small samples at a reasonable price. I've purchased from some vendors who offer NO samples at all, a client is forced to buy a 30ml bottle by only a description (and it's non returnable if its awful), as a newbie, I bought more bottles than I care to confess to, only to discover I didn't like the juice. To be honest, I felt abused. And one last suggestion, make the samples affordable! It seems grossly unfair to be charged 6-8 dollars for a 5ml sample when the 30ml bottle sells for $10-15! And if you have 3 or 4 juices that are your best sellers, please offer those juices in larger sizes...50ml, 75ml, 120 ml , etc...there are some juices that I use 90ml each month, which means I must order between 2-3 bottles...which I must recycle... 6). Give as much information, honest and truthful, to your clientele. Make some knowledgeable veteran vapers available to answer questions on Facebook or your ECF thread 24/7/365. New vapers have a lot of questions at all hours of the day. Nothing is worse for a new care to not have his new equipment work when all e needs is a simple fix...like pressing the ego button 5 times to turn it on. 7) Offer ECF discounts and customer loyalty perks...or maybe even free priority shipping for clients whose purchase history exceeds a certain level...we like to have our loyalty recognized. I hope you forgive my rant...my purpose is only meant to improve a vendors ability to communicate with his clientele. The SALE is what it is all about, and customer retention is a major goal, isn't it? Good luck with the reinvention of our product line!!1 point

If this is still being taken into consideration: I think McQuinn pretty much hit the nail on the head, IMHO Honesty, and pride in the product you're selling as well as good quality control to avoid materials that are DOA or taste poor. After that throat hit and vapor production are on the top of my list as well as flavor delivery. I mean it would be amazing for a product to be able to cover all of those objectives and I feel that e cigs are getting closer and closer. Also a battery that works on the go as well as with a pass thru option is always a plus!1 point

being able to use it around my asthmatic 5 year old son without feeling guilty. saving easily $100 a month when compared to cigs (and yes that's including the price of all the hardware, and i have alot lol) being able to run several miles at the gym without hacking a lung up not smelling like an ashtray knowing i'm not putting carcinogens into my body or the air around me actually knowing the $1.00 i spent on air fresheners for my car wasn't a waste not having to roll my window down in the rain while driving to "smoke" not having to stand outside during the middle of winter and freeze my *** off for nicotine think that about sums it up.1 point

well i use mine for at least a week. i had a single cartomizer last me a whole month. grantee you it had nowhere near the great flavor i would have gotten from a new one. but vapor was still good. but yah it all depends on how much money you have and i dont have much and i make my stuff last. and trust me i vape almost 24/7 as i never sleep.1 point
