These regulations may affect the manner in which electronic cigarettes are sold and could have the effect of making these products more expensive and/or less accessible. You have the opportunity to have your opinion heard regarding this matter. The FDA is accepting public submissions via the Internet through next Wednesday (January 16th, 2013). If NJOY’s electronic cigarettes have had a positive impact on your life, we encourage you to share your story with the FDA and to urge the FDA not to take any action that would make these products more difficult or expensive to obtain than they are currently. Comments are limited to 2,000 characters. If your comment is longer, you can upload a file to fully share your story. Your opinion does matter, and we know that collectively our voices will be heard. Upgrading From My V2.

Gotcha... I'm not going to be buying large quantities of juice just yet so I think the juices will be OK in their original bottles for the short periods of time that they'll last me. I'm going to be looking for a bunch of flavor samples from different makers until I find the stuff I like. I'll definitely have a look at the IBT place.. Seebs

Ok... But that brings more questions then. When I do order the juices; are they not shipped in containers that won't be damaged by the contents? I figure they would not ship them in something that would crack and spill all over before it was delivered. My guess is you mean the carto/tank units need to be SS or "special" glass... Does anyone even make tanks from the "special" types of glass? I can find SS cartos, but haven't ran across a single site that specifies "special" glass tanks. Thanks again Seebs

    Upgrading From My V2.

I get what you're saying. The reason for my upgrade is that with a device such as the V2 ~ 808 type? ~ the "menu" for parts is a bit limited, or maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. All I know is that devices like the eGo and all the different 510 models is where the bulk of the selection is so I want to eventually have at least one of each so I can pick and choose what suits my needs for the particular moment. As a bit of an example so you see where I'm coming from: Most people, when they need a computer, they go to Dell and order one of the models they offer. Then; there are some people that would rather build their own PCs than just choose from a list of options. And then; there are those of us that like to take it to the extreme; I own enough computer HW to set up a small datacenter. Look up "sub-zero overclocking and benchmarking" and you'll get an idea of what I do to the computer parts I buy. Just so you get an idea; this is what I do to my computer gear. So basically; I'm never content with just the "stock" or "bare minimum" of anything and that means I will always be looking for the "next best thing" out there. It's just how I'm wired in the head. Thanks for the info Uma. I will keep the glass/ss thing in mind for when I order the juices and other gear. @ Jeffb Thanks for the advice. I will check into the suggestions you mentioned.

    Upgrading From My V2.

The eGo-C & eGo-T both use the same batts, but they use different juice delivery systems. I would not recommend either delivery systems. I would recommend an Ego Twist or a Vision Spenner as a batt along with a Vision Nova or a cartomizer. I tend to purchase my juices from sweet-vapes. I have always been pleased with their juices.

Man, how I wish we were neighbors so I could come over and bring a couple of VV/VP mods with me, have some coffee with you, and vape on your favorite juice using my PVs...carto tanks, too. Not that they're any better than what you use, but they do have some pretty nice convenience features. I could vape on your mods and see what I'm missing, too.

    Hello From So Cal

again, thanks guys. i've been trying my best to substitute the Ego for as many analogs as possible. its been hard but i gotta keep trying

  9. Yup. I used to use the 1.7Ω SmokTech Resurrectors a lot, but once you scorch 'em, they stay scorched. Boges are a lot more forgiving if you run 'em dry...just fill 'em back up and "cigar puff" 'em a couple of times...back in business.

  10. I just got two 5pks of Boge XL LR Cartomizers in a couple days ago. I also vape 100% VG - I order from Johnson Creek, there mixed with ionized water, and Dripeez, which is mixed with distilled water. I mostly syringe fill them at home, but drip when I'm out. Boge cartomizers are the best. I've tried Smoktech, but every cartomizer gave a burnt taste. I tried Clearomizers and tanks, and smoktechs, nothing worked until I ran into Boges. Like NYC said, find what works. Ego-C twist batteries with Boge XL LR Cartomizers is what works for me.

    Need Help Or Suport

It took me about 6 months to get completly off analogs, for the longest time I had to have 1 in the morning and after meals. One day I grabbed my 510 instead of my camels and have been analog free since. Don't give up remember every vape is one less cigarette.

Oh I agree with the above posters. We're all on our own time schedules, and solution adventures. You'll find your flavor, volt, ohm, that works great for you. It's an adventure, pure and simple. Enjoy the journey, and count the smokes you didn't have, not the ones you did. Challenge yourself to add one more minus smoke to your count each week or day or whatever scenario fits your adventure. You'll get there. Don't be so hard on yourself!! Even slowing down is half the battle. Did you slow down at all before vaping?? ha! I sure couldn't. The more I tried to slow, or stop, the more I smoked. Vaping changed all that. The more I tried to stop smoking, the more I vaped through it. Guilt free vaping through a cig craving. God I love vaping! Good luck to you, relax, and count your blessings, not your sorrows.

    Upcoming New Provari?

i imagine that's where they would take it. i can't see why they'd release another version without incorporating vp.

    Upcoming New Provari?

*squeals* PURPLE!!! But there's something about the various indentations on the outside that make the entire cylinder look like... *falls off chair laughing* Um...the rest of me will just be over in that nearby gutter keeping my mind company.

  21. Ugh, I get this all the time too. This weekend it was my favorite... "Propylene Glycol?!?! That's anti-freeze!! Do you know how many chemicals are in nicotine that cause cancer?!?!" Um, no, it's not the nicotine that causes cancer... it's the 4000+ other chemicals I was directly ingesting into my lungs. That person got pretty quiet when I told them that PG is used in asthma inhalers and nebulizer treatment liquid and that VG (PG as well) is a common element in food flavorings that this person probably ingests every day without even knowing it. I do get pretty frustrated sometimes when dealing with this, but then I remember it's not about what they think. It's about me and what I am doing for myself.

  22. I actually found a method for getting the VG juice to absorb quickly into the filler material. I drip a few drops on top of the material and just blow lightly into the carto and the juice goes right in. after you initially get the filler material soaked dripping into them actually works without much trouble. my boges have been working great today!

  24. > I just got ten boge LR catromizers in the mail today and I was really psyched to try them out. > am I doing something wrong? do boges just not work with thicker VG juices ? You make it sound like you have used something different in the past that worked -- what was it? I use Boge 2.0/LR's exclusively. You find something that works and you stick with it until you hear of something better. I absolutely use nothing but 100% VG and the same flavor...at least for the past 6-8 months. Zero issues here. Carto's and VG and just that way -- VG is going to be thick. I wouldn't dare to try to drip into a carto (any brand) with 100% VG. I start all cartos via syringe. When I'm home any refilling is done the same. When I am at work or I am out and about I will drip and wait, but if you are dealing with VG, yeah you are going to want to slowly inject vs. drip and wait. Once it's saturated, dripping isn't so bad. It's a VG thing not a carto brand thing.

  26. I have used the SR's and the LR's, the standards just don't burn hot enough for me. The LR attys hit it right on the head for every flavor I have tried so far. There are a few I can sneak a little bit more out of my VV device going to 5+volts...but not enough to bother most of the time. I have a great go to menthol, and I keep another filled with a random flavor, blueberry cheesecake at the moment. Personally, I wouldn't bother with the Standard Resistance. They are just sitting, 4 in the unopened pack still since I got my Ego-C. I use Lr's all day long.

  27. Mike the LR sometimes seems to be better with darker liquids I've found, but after using the LR for so long, I pretty much only use the LR atties anymore for some reason regardless of the liquid. I seriously have to agree with this topic. The C was my first device but I have now tried VV and boge carto's, and overall ease, the total package, I keep coming back to the C. It vapes great, good flavor, good vapor, soooooo easy to maintain...emphasis on EASY. I fill and go. Fill and go. I have dropped off on vaping so much that I fill once a day now and that lasts me all day. Cigarettes were way less convenient even. The only difference I've noticed is the wicking can be so slightly more slow you barely notice it. A+ Device on all fronts, really. PS: Leaking has never happened to me. Only con I can think of is spending the money on the other devices only to come back to the C. There are a lot of people on this board who SWEAR by boge carto's...can't say I was blown away, definitely was expecting more the way they are spoken of in comparison to my C. Edit: I see in your post you mention carto's, EMDCC possibly being cheaper..maybe just a personal thing, but I have spent relatively nothing on my C since buying it. One of my cone's dethreaded, had to buy a new one ($12), outside of a little juice, I've been rotating the same two blisterpacks of atty's (boiling when they get nasty) for almost 3 months now. It's been ridiculously cheap. I've not even ran through my original juice purchases (30ml of VG, 60ml of pg's), and have purchased a few 10ml flavored juices. And that's shared between two people.
