welll guess I am # 3 post lol have been using my EVIC since last friday . I think it is great . I use it with a viva nove and 1.8 coil with no problems . have also put a 2.4 ohm vision on it and a couple different caro tanks all worked well . set on 4.8 volts and 14.1 watts with the viva nova it is my sweet spot . it is a lot lighter than my vamoo and a bit shorter . it is about the same weight as a lava tube . all the trick menu,s are fun lol but not a lot of usfull info .... I dont care how many times I have puffed etc but it is kinda neet Performance wise it is great , with the above mentioned setting and a 2600 mah battery that comes with it it will last almost 2 days on a charge , but I have been charging it every night . I puff a lot so those are good figures for comparison a twist set on 4.2 v and with a vision 2.4 my between charge time is about 8 to 10 hours Great product IMO well made and with the computer hookup about as hi tech as there is out there3 points

Just a heads up reminder about warm buttons, courtesy of HealthCabin because of the new Vamo's V2 spring. (an SB spring or Helix spring (hot springs) work great) Emergency Notice Dear customers, We are very sorry to inform you that we stop selling eGo Bamboo APV(Stainless/Chrome/Black Chrome) for a while because the big wide spring in the cap has big resistance, which makes the Bamboo cap very hot when Bamboo is working, especially when Bamboo works at a high Voltage or Wattage with a low resistance atomizer. We are working on new good springs with low resistances and expect to get new springs ready in some days. We will resume selling the products and their caps when the new springs are ready. If you have Bamboos (Vamo's) with the wider big wrong springs, please stop using the products and contact us by ticket system. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. If you have any questions or need any assistance, please feel free to let us know by using Help Desk and submiting a ticket. We look forward to always being able to serve you better. another great vendor for leo's is ecigarsenal.com i too loved my leo's. i had a few, one boge and one innokin. they really were great batt's but what probably killed most interest is it was all proprietary threading. while most vendors were inventing new delivery systems for 510/ego threading. having to buy an adapter was not what people were interested in. the new leo pro is 510 threaded in case you were wondering. it's made by innokin the makers of the itaste and itaste mvp. solid batt from what i've heard. also check out whitestagvapor.com1 point

welcome to the non smoking world You will be very happy I am sure of that . The best thing you said was to find a shop , they will give you good advice , with that said make sure it is a good one that has a vaiaty of products . Keep in mind that some of the brand names you hear are just renamed from other real manufactures . Joyetech, riva , kanger and vision are real manufactors , Talk to the shop owner and let him answer your ? the price at most brick and morter stores is about the same as the internet and you know him you can talk to him one on one . After you have been doing this fir a while then you may want to venter into the online shops But please dont go to a shop pick the owners brain for an hour then buy you stuff on line that is at best rude and it borders on lieing1 point

I added washers to the centre post on my AGA-T's (four of them) basically doing what is also necessary with the bliSS (two of them as well) Welcome to "The Dark Side" mse12. Spot on advice Uma! Another thing that I recommend is to oxidise the ends of your wicks after you've snipped them to prevent bottom of the tank shorting. People always remember to leave a 1mm distance from the bottom of the tank, but after tapping the rig on a table or whatnot a few times, the wick can creep downwards.1 point -
I hope you find what you're looking for. Sadly this place is like my social spot lol. All I do is work and spend time with my family. The crew here are good folks.1 point

In all honesty, it's not necessary for your co-workers to understand. They don't even have to know you vape unless you choose to share with them. You don't need their understanding or approval to do what you feel is right for YOU.1 point

You're welcome! It sounds like the "S" is a nice workable one afterall, like the first reports promised it to be. I have the "T" but not yet the "S" and soon the "T+" will be out and I have a feeling it's the same thing as the "S". (Vendors like to confuse the issue). O-rings ... maybe discountvapors will be carrying them? Radio Shack, Hobby stores, etc.. might have the right size. There's a few o-ring shops on the net, where we can buy colorful ones as well, but I don't have a link, you'll have to google. Good luck!! Looking at your photos, the wick hole is indeed closer to the center post!! Yay!! That was a major problem with the chids, chobra, and previous clones. The AGA-T is too far away too, but manageable. Oh! The tank ml size. When it says 2ml, it's really 1.5ml because of needed airflow room. But, yours sounds even smaller than promised. Go figure eh. You might want to keep an eye out or contact IBTanked for a tank that will fit the S. Now that it's working good, you'll be removing coils, to keep the OHMS where you want em. Isn't life grand! We are no longer stuck with the same coil, nor searching for a 6v mod in order to run those dying storebought coils. We just remove a coil! Easy Peasy. How do the insulators feel on the "S"? Are they like the carto condom type of silicone or are they super squishy, cut like biscuit dough? I hope they've improved drastically, like promised. (if squishy dough, you can cut to fit a carto condom). The refill hole has a plastic stopper? I didn't know that at all. You can break off a toothpick or something to fit the hole after the juice is vaped down some or for when you need to turn it off and pocket it for awhile. (sounds safer anyway). As long as there is a small strawhole in the wick itself, (rolled the wick with a needle or toothpick or straightened out paperclip inside), then it should wick good with the Fill hole plugged as long as there is airflow room in the tank. Should and do are two different things, of course. It sounds like you're experimenting with cause and effects, and are already mastering a lot of the quirks! Pretty soon, I will be coming to you for solutions. Good luck with the o-ring search.1 point -
Ohh... I think I like your style. I've only just given up the little cancer sticks ten days ago... Still haven't done the e-Cig thing yet (just ordered my first starter kit tonight), but I can guarantee you that if I ever get the comment about the gum or the patches; my reply will be something along the lines of "Do you get up every morning and the first thing you do is turn the coffee pot on?... Yes?... So you're like me and can't go on with your day if you haven't had your caffeine fix!.... Ok... This is what I want you to do... Tomorrow morning, instead of turning the coffee pot on; simply grab one of the grind pouches and chew on it... you can even chew on some sugar and creamer if you want... You know; for taste. And that will be the way you get your caffeine fix from now on... no brewing coffee, no tasty Starbucks grande lattes, none of that nonsense... From now on you take your drug by chewing on it just like you want me to take mine."1 point

Thank you for the support Uma! I'm happy with this coil so far. I've vaped like 3-4 tanks through it so far. Granted the tank is only holding about 1ml each fill. I don't know where the vendor came up with 2ml capacity...that's a joke. I filled the tank up with the platform off and 1ml was up to the threads. Anyway...vaping pretty well. It shipped with a tiny plastic little plug for the second hole. If that plug is in it pretty much does not wick at all. Immediate dry hits when I try to put it in and vape. There is a little leaking from that hole going on inside the top cap but it gets vaped if you take a pull on it holding it straight up so no problem there! If I can figure out how to find some new/better o-rings this rig will be pretty solid!1 point -
@mse12 Aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!! Your first "sticky"     Dude! You got pinned! (what's the prize for second post in a new sub?)1 point

The Leo was my first real PV. I really love those things...It's what got me off cigarettes. I gave mine to my dad a few months ago and they're still going strong. You can still get them at several places around the web, but VapeLite has the best deal on them...$13 for just the batteries, and they also carry kits ($20 & $29.99), cartos, atties, and Leo-510 adapters. The link to their "Boge Name Brand Products" page is here.1 point

Most mechanical mods are the typical 3.7. A few, however, hit harder, such as the Precise Plus, the Caravela, the Roller (with it's updated silver switch), and the Poldiac. The Caravela took top honors of hardest hitting, best looking mod until the Poldiac came out recently. The Poldiac has a Silver plated over brass Switch connection... Silver makes 105% contact. The P+ is Rhodium(sp) which hits hard too, but not as hard as silver. Long story short, because the connection is 105% strong, there is no loss of current, no volt drop. It takes single battery, and there are 3 different tube sizes. 18350, 18500, 18650 and rumor has it there will be a 25*** out this coming year too. It can be Kicked too. It is a 3.7v that hits as powerful as a 4.8v with a regular aw-imr or like a 6v with an MNKE-IMR battery. It's the combo of battery and switch... plus of course your ohms on your atty. Being a Mechanical mod, it can easily handle the amps tossed at it, unlike the electronical ones that can handle 3-5 amps.1 point
