    Leaky Visions

I too am hooked on the Vivi Nova's, been using one for over a month now and no leaks or problems. Maybe 2 months!

    Ego-V Lcd Vv Passthrough

In lieu of a lengthy review of the eGo-V LCD Variable Voltage Passthrough I bought from ecig-parts.com, I'll just say that I really like it a lot. I like the wide range of voltages available (3v-6v in .1v increments). I like being able to see the voltage I'm set at and remaining charge with a glance at the LCD. I like being able to plug in the USB cable to charge it without having to remove the cone and DD (i.e. atty/carto/tank). I don't like the flush-mount fire button. I can't just feel for the button so I have to look at the device to find it...maybe I'll get used to it soon. I also don't like the fact that the cable is not a standard mini-USB, but I do have a digital camera that uses the same connection, so I have a backup if necessary. Kudos to ecig-parts.com for getting it to me so quickly! I ordered it Tue, Oct 9, 2012 at 5:41 PM, and it was in my mailbox on Fri, Oct 12, 2012 at 1:00 PM. Fastest shipping I've seen lately, and I'm completely satisfied with their service.

    Rebuildable Vision

I had good and bad luck with the first 2 generations of Vision clearos but the first rebuildable one I got from Sweet-Vapes is working stellar. I'm using a 3.2 ohm coil and I have lr 1.8 replacement coils. I won't get to the lr coils until I'm done with the 3.2 ohm one and I'm liking it a lot. I also picked up a 1000mah twist c because I destroyed my 650mah twist c at work again(I'm definately making a special holster for it this time). The vape quality is great and it works well at any twist c setting. At 3.2 volts it is a little week for me and at 4.8 it is a bit much but the flavor is good and the vapor is cool at either end. Big clouds of vapor, especially when I turn it up and the flavor doesn't take a hit. I'm vaping DIY bavarian cream(lorann's 20%) and a drop of sweetener 70/30 pg/vg at 18mg/ml and I can't believe the flavor punch. I wonder how long this will last and how the lr coils perform but I'm gonna enjoy this while I can.

    Leaky Visions

I have the Vision V2's with the long wick. The heads are not replceable. these work great when the connections are clean, but I shouldnt have to clean everything 10 times a day. It leaks enough to where I get a puddle on my device's center post and I don't get a good connection. I have been looking at the Vivi Novas also. I'm probably going to pick one up.

    Leaky Visions

My new Vision V3 from sweet-vapes.com is leaking where the plastic tank meets the bottom metal band. I put a piece of Scotch tape around it but now it's really ugly. I've had some tanks that looked identical to this one but without the vision logo on the band and never had a leak. Very disappointing. I haven't complained to them and I'm sure they'd replace it since it's new, but I just haven't had the time or energy to make the effort.

    Too Much Menthol

The only save is to make more with no menthol and then add the menthol mix a little at a time until you get the right menthol. as you have discovered....Menthol is really strong. Usually, only a few drops will be strong enough.

    Ego-V Lcd Vv Passthrough

Actually, I just ordered one of those for my dad's Christmas present. I love the one I have, but I would've preferred the one with the original eGo button. I use a 3.2Ω Vision V3 Clearomizer on mine at 5v providing 8 watts of power...and it works beautifully. The higher resistance on a battery capable of 5+ volts keeps the current at just over 1.5 amps. That keeps the switch really cool and provides plenty of battery life while still providing plenty of power. I think you're gonna really like it.

    Ego-V Lcd Vv Passthrough

The better version of this is here: Ego Pass-through VV (Stainless Steel) I have not received it just yet but I do know the button is suppose to be almost identical to the joyetech ego batteries if it isn't 100% the same.

    Omg, Threads Again (Ego C)

Noalox anti-siezing compound should be available in the electrical section of Lowes or Homedepot, or your local hardware store. I use it on all my metal threaded parts especially aluminum.

  11. That's what I hated about my ego-c. I felt like I had to be a rocket scientist just to use the darn thing. I had to watch a new youtube video everynight to see how to dry it, clean it...heck I felt like I had another kid in the house to take care of LOL. I feel your pain!
