Hello everyone. I turn wood on a lathe for a hobby. I normally make things like pens, pepper mills, bottle stoppers and goblets. I decided to put wood around a Riva 510 battery tube to see how it would turn out. I dissembled the riva down to just the tube. I glued a piece of brown ebony around the tube. Then I turned it down and sanded it to 1200 grit. Next I applied 10 coats of CA glue(crazy glue) as a finish. The finish was also sanded to 1200 grit and buffed with white diamond. It took ~3hours from start to finish. About a week ago I bought a E-power 14650 to test and see how good they work. The newer buttons seem to function fine and I have not had any issues yet. My next project will be to turn the tube on the E-power. The tube on the E-power unscrews from the switch so when the battery dies it will be much easier for me to change compared to my riva.

I just bought my first e-cig the other day. I purchased the Totally Wicked Tornado Tank setup with the duel tank adaptor (just to hold more liquid than the regular tank that it comes with holds. I really can't stand the smell of cigarettes. I was going to go buy a hookah when I saw the Totally Wicked display setup. I really liked the accessories that it came with, plus the accessories you could buy for it, and all of the flavors all smelled lovely. So I purchased it with 10ml of Blueberry and 10ml or Tiger's Blood. Compared to smoking cigs, I'm quite impressed to find myself more drawn to the electronic cig rather than my actual pack. I have no motivation to smoke from the pack as of now. Not sure if that changes or if that's just because I can smoke the vapor inside and it's freezing outside. Anyways, I can't help but want to go back and get more flavors! I know it'll take me a while to get through the 20ml of fluid, but I can't help but want more! Ah, and the obsession starts. Either way, it's a great concept with the vapor. And it feels cleaner. Though, with some of the e-liquids that I've tried, I can't help but get this film-like taste in my mouth. Is this normal? And does it go away eventually? Any other suggestions on my little setup here?

Here is my new pipe project. It will have a 18350 battery you can take out when it runs down and put a fresh charged one in. Also it will have a 12 watt adjustable power regulator. It features controlled power from 5 to 12 watts with a 510 auto switch. This pipe is freehand out of spanish briar block. A lot of hours carving & sanding. Hope you like it. way to step on my toes Darth! jk Glad you posted this here b/c it's a product i'm interested in and this new category is the perfect place for this kind of stuff. I don't think it's been released for purchase yet, last time i looked was 2 weeks ago or so, but it looks very intriguing. I love my smoktek vv 18650 but it's so fragile and not good for out and about where it could be dropped on concrete. This looks similar but more much durable. If only it displayed your ohms and battery life. Pbusardo posted a first look awhile back which is what sparked my interest. I'm awaiting his review with anticipation Either way i'll prolly pick one up when they're available if the price is reasonable and it gets decent reviews.

Good idea kitsune with the 5 separate devices....I actually only own 5 batteries so I guess I could pull that off as well...I always have at least two usually 3 at any point. Today my failure came from both a vivi nova and a dct. The vivi started leaking and resulted in a mouthful of menthol. The dct was being setup with a new carto when I apparently caught the inner o-ring on the top cap and it broke to pieces. Frustrating day...I had been doing so well. I'm really almost over the whole vivi nova thing. They work great when they want to but I've been having more and more leaking and general blah experiences from them. I've got two and I think they are both about to land in the trashcan here in the next few weeks at the rate they're going currently. Who knows, tomorrow's another day. My 901 seems like it will never fail me though. lol I will now have one die in the next hour after saying that though.
