Hey all ! so we all by now know about DCTs and their advantages and pains, and some of us have moved on to clearomizers and RBAs etc. but for those of us who still have a soft spot in their heart for DCTs, i've found something awesome that you should know about: i found a tank replacement column that has a ce2 style coil and wicks inside it instead of the polyfil. http://www.madvapes.com/tank-replacement-dual-coil-cartomizers-1-5-ohms-dual-hole.html the holes for flow are much bigger that what you are used to on regular punched cartos, and you don't fill the center. juice gets pulled in through the holes when you draw air. it works really well, and flavor is really great. tastes as good as DD . just thought i would share with you all since i know there has been growing resentment against DCC replacement for tanks with the dry spots etc.1 point

Found A Store!
Uma reacted to NorthernGirl for a topic
I've discovered I'm not really loving vaping the fruity flavors I've bought so far. They're ok, but just, meh. So last night I was desperate to find somewhere around me that sold the stuff so I could get some creamy, sweet stuff (that'll teach me to place an order before a holiday weekend). Then it hit me.... the head shops!!! There's one here in my town. I called this morning and he said he unfortunately had to stop carrying the stuff because the demand in the area wasn't high enough to make carrying e cig supplies cost effective for him.... bummer. That's me... always late to the party lol. Google to the rescue. There's another head shop about 45 minutes south of me. They carry Dekang juice, but what I don't like is there is really no customization. Their liquids are either 100% PG or 100% VG. The VG only comes in "high" nic strength. The PG comes in "high" or "Low" but only certain bottle sizes are available at the different strengths. They also don't specify what mg's "High" and "low" are. I'm gonna give them a call to find out what the story is before I brave all the dang leaf peepers and drive down there and cross my fingers that whoever is working the shop today actually knows what they're talking about. Gotta get my vanilla fix lol. Another thing that bothered my was their website was saying that VG offers more throat hit than PG... I thought it was the other way around? The fruity stuff is ok when I first start vaping for the day, but by the end of the day my mouth is just kinda irritated and blech lol. All of my juice is a 50/50 blend, so I'm thinking there's something in the fruit flavoring itself that doesn't agree with me. I'll just keep slugging down water I guess. I was soooo close to going to the store to buy a pack of analogs last night. Then I remembered that since I started vaping, I can't stand the smell. Probably won't like the taste very much either. Wish me luck!1 point -
you know, i wasn't sure that i would like it at first, but its surprisingly light and soft! i really like the enamel it reminds me of the 'soft' feel of a mug or something. I also liked that it's smaller than most ming vase tips, i had a metal ming once and it was really big and heavy... nice cheap alternative to something fancier than delrin/plastic but not as expensive as glass!!1 point

Very, very nice !!! I still have a soft spot for my tanks. I actually alternate them with my clearomizers. I love variety.1 point

i laughed so hard at that! i also liked the one where the really big guy was covering is face with his hoodie.. reminds me of when i used to hide in the storage room at work and jump out at my unsuspecting coworkers.... :P1 point

Okay, here goes. Click the button five times (not too fast, just steady). The light will flash three times to tell you if it's on or off. How you tell one from the other is to click the button once after the three flashes. If the light turns on while you have the button pressed, that means it's on. If it stays dark = off. When it's on, push the button and hold it down. Take a "drag" nice and slow with the button pressed. Take your finger off the button when you're done drawing from it. At first, you might not want to take a really big puff until you're used to it. Don't worry about keeping the button pressed down too long, it has an automatic cut off after 10 seconds. Draw the vapor into your mouth first, hold a sec and then inhale. That's usually the best way to do it to keep from coughing. The first several hits from any new atomizer, cartomizer, clearomizer, whatever -- will more than likely not taste as good as it will later. If you're using a cartomizer, you'll want to blow into the top with a tissue under the part where the threads attach to the battery to catch the whatever they use. Do that a few times and blot gently before filling with liquid. That'll help with the icky taste of a new cart. If you're using the clearomizer, put liquid into it and swirl it around (tip gently) to let the wick absorb the juice. Let sit for just a little while. I like to give it at least a minute so the wick can get wet enough that it reaches the coil. Otherwise you might get a dry hit and that's not pleasant. :P Hang in there. At first there seems to be a LOT to learn but it gets better and it gets easier!1 point

When I first started I didn't care much for the tobacco flavors and used exclusivly Dekang frooty flavors.I found out I needed 2 atties or cartos going at a time with different flavors and switched off through the day.VG makes more vapor, other than that I like PG or a blend.Dekang low is usually 11mg or 6 mg.1 point

Just an FYI for future searchers, there was a mistake on our part. We have issued a 50% discount and $10 credit for the inconvenience.1 point -
probably should have just looked for this to begine with but as always pbusardo does a fabulous review of the Kick: so, anyone with an 18650 tube mod out there that wants vw here ya go. also, while i was doing some research on this i saw at least one person with a reos mod that pulled out whatever battery they originally had in the mod (guessing 18500), stuck the kick in and put in an 18350 battery. so, that being said i don't think it "has" to be a tube mod, or an 18650 mod at that. yup, definately getting one.1 point

Propylene glycol is an air germicide so, vaping is like the mouth, throat, nose, and lung equivalent of hand sanitizer. The second hand vape is probably sanitizing some of the outside air too. I used to get sick every time I came in contact with someone that was sick. Now , most of the time, I feel the beginning symptoms of a cold/flu and vape them away. That has never happened to me before. Even when I was a child before I smoked. The beginning symptoms always lead to full blown cold/flu but not since I started vaping. Also there is the not smoking thousands of carcinogens that helps boost my immune system. That's a huge part of it but I can definitely tell that I'm vaping away colds and the flu after I have caught them.1 point -

I've been bouncing around at different forums for other things that I'm also interested in. I like to come back here every once in a while to see the new inventions, see what big government is up to, and see how everyone is doing.1 point -
knock on wood.....no cold in the last 3 years, then again, I didn't get sick often before I quit smoking. I know for certain that I am no longer short of breath going up a short flight of stairs, and I no long sound like I'm going to cough up a lung every morning....1 point

Got a chest X-Ray a couple weeks ago and the results came back unremarkable. It went on to say very good for a 55 year old. And I smoked for about 40 years1 point
