    Help!

I think kitsune is talking about Jeffb's post. Brian is a supplier, who BTW has lots of goodies in his store and used to be staff here at Vapor Talk. I called him Mark once in the comment box and he sent me extra stuff. He said he doesn't mind being called Mark, just don't call him Jeff. lol I don't know how Jeff would feel about being called Brian but I think that's kinda funny. Do there avatars look similar because this is the second time in a couple of days those 2 got mixed up. lol Laurel, I agree with getting an eGo type battery or, even better, the eGo twist. Here's the type of clearos I like the most and I got them from Jeff's--I mean Brian's store.http://www.theveteranvaper.com/ego-2-4ml-cc-changeable-coil-clearomizer-clear/

    Help!

like uma said, the twist is a wonderfull battery. althought if you looking for battery length your not gonna find to many "dainty" batteries.... plain and simple. when i first started i went with white cloud and while they were mind blowingly expensive they did the trick... (to get me to quit analogs)they are the size of a 100 cigarette and shorter the smallest device tops $250!!!. if your a heavy smoke the BEST thing to try is an ego style battery. yes they are a tad on the non dainty size but they are power houses! the ego-c twist is a great device but if your trying to find your way id just go with a set voltage device like a regular ego battery. a reg ego battery runs from $15 to the kit around $40. the twist is about $25 and the kit about $50 if you know what you like and want to achive it the best way possible for not alot of money. id recommend the ovlae v8. its a gripper style mod and looks a little like a bomb detonator and would not recommend taking on a flight... lol but other than that it blows my mind every single time i take a hit... if you are really sierious about quiting youll put aside the size portion of your search. either that or just have a TON of backup batteries... best of luck to you and happy vaping! as for attachments i personally LOVE the DCT (dual coil cartomizer tank) find it here http://www.madvapes.com/dual-coil-510-tank-cartomizer-35ml-blue.html they last all day and never have to refill... the vison clearomizers are great as well...

    Diy-How To Basics

DIY Tips and Info I know this is a lot of information, but I hope it helps those looking at trying their hand at DIY. Keep in mind, This is just my own experience. PG- Propylene Glycol : It is a colorless, nearly odorless, clear, viscous liquid with a faintly sweet taste, http://en.wikipedia....ropylene_glycol VG-Vegetable Glycerin(Glycerol): In foods and beverages, glycerol serves as a humectant, solvent and sweetener, and may help preserve foods. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycerol PG and/or VG are both used as the base of the E-Liquid. PG/VG can be purchased from most E-Liquid suppliers with or without Nicotine. Unflavored PG or VG with Nicotine can be purchased for the purpose of mixing your own liquids and can be purchased is many strengths. PG/VG without Nicotine is necessary for mixing your own liquids. Glycerin can also be purchased from most pharmacies-over the counter. Humco is one brand of Pharmacy Grade (USP) glycerin. It is sold as a skin protectant. It is a clear, slightly thick liquid and has a sweet taste to it. There is also a Food grade VG- Wiltons- sold at Craft stores in the baking sections. Can sometimes be found at Walmart in the craft section. The information will have to be put into a couple posts--The server doesn't like the long version....

    Help!

Hey laurel. Very glad you have quit smoking. finding the right set up is really a challenge. Unfortunately the slim pen style batteries will not stand up to heavy vaping. The ego and ego type batteries (like the ones in Brians post) with the clearomizers (again Brians post) are a great setup, cost effective, great colors. The clearomizers are so easy to use and refill. The Ego and ego type batteries are sold at most vaping vendors (lots and lots of selection). The battery (900mah) is about the same size as a standard sharpie. I swear, You get used to the size in no time and it can hold up to heavy vaping.

  9. Without using any adapters, I have very successfully used many 510-thread delivery devices on my eGo batteries, including (but not limited to) CCV 1.7Ω SC Resurrector Cartomizers, Boge 2Ω SC Cartos, a SmokTech 1.7Ω SC eGo Cone Carto, a Smok Tech 510 2Ω Atomizer, a Vision ViVi Nova 1.8Ω Tank Atomizer (never leaked a drop), and Vision V2 and V3 (rebuildable) 1.8Ω Clearomizers (never a leak here, either). Using various adapters, your choices are virtually endless. With the standard eGo batteries, you'll probably want to go with a low resistance carto, tank, or atty, because of the lower voltage that device provides. With the Twist, you can use pretty much anything you want, provided it's 510, or you have purchased the proper adapters for the various other threadings out there. I have used 510-eGo, 510-KR808D-1, 510-RN4081, 510-510 (riser). Just remember, you'll probably want to vape at somewhere between 6 and 8 watts of power if you're just starting out (so you don't pop a coil), so you'll need to decide on what the resistance needs to be for the carto/tank/atty you purchase for your standard eGo battery. You can use the online calculator here by simply filling in your battery's voltage and desired wattage...click "calculate" and you will be provided with the resistance in ohms for the device you'll need to buy. I prefer 1.7-2Ω delivery devices on my 3.7v batteries, so that puts me at 6.8-8 watts of power.

  10. I would say one of the hardest parts is finding the right E Liquid, strength of nic and percentage of pg/vg. Not sure if thats enough to stop someone from trying vaping but it is a daunting task!
