I smoked for 25+ years and the last 5 years of being a smoker I tried to quit by almost every method and nothing worked. I really tried hard too. The funny thing is when I discovered e-cigs I never thought of them as something to get me off smoking. I bought it out of curiosity and vaped for the pleasure of it. Then I noticed that I wasn't smoking nearly as much I had been. By the time I found Vapor Talk I was down to a couple of smokes a day so I decided at that point not to buy another pack and to join the forum. It was easy for me because I wasn't going into it as a way to quit smoking, it just happened that way naturally. My advice to someone who wants to make the switch is to first get a kit(you're going to have to decide which one but we can help with that also) but give it a little time and see for yourself how your desire for anologs decrease. When that starts to happen then you will feel confident about quiting cigarettes all together.

yes they are all gen2 kr808's. Volt, bloog, halo, smoov, elitevaporworks, nexcig, and vapornine are all the ones I can think of off the top of my head. exact same batteries, chargers, cartos, etc...

Sorry I didn't see your post earlier, I was out of town. The problem you're experiencing sounds like something is shorting, probably on the cap. Check list: 1. DID you Jack Frost your wick? 2. DID you trim the tank end of the wick at 45% angle and torch or trim off ALL stray ends? 3. DID you lift the wick a smidgen after inserting it into the bottom of the tank so that it no longer hits the bottom? 4. DID you trim the top of the wick below the nut height after coiling? (and remove all stray ends) The kid needs the computer back for a little while, but I will be back in a little while and post some more videos. Here is the Jack Frost method. (it's a long video, but ONLY because he takes it nice and slow so the newbie can follow every single nuance).

A lot of people have quit using e-cigs.I have been vaping for three years and have not found any liquid or device that is just like smoking.We are not burning leaves .Having put that out there ,I have found some very tasty eliquids that I look forward to and enjoy very much.I would recomend something simple like a KR808 kit or Ego or 510 batteries with Boge refillable cartomisers.And a variety of flavors of eliquid from several manufacturers in the 18 to 24 mg nic range.You really don't want to lay in a huge supply of liquid from one place until you are sure it will work for you.But you do need to make sure you have way more than enough liquid,cartomisers and batteries to hold until more can arrive.
