  3. Smokelessimage rep (they carry the same thing just with 808 threading) says they're vertical coil carto's, so Madkat my best advice is just to try a non lr one like the one i linked to, anything in between 2.5-3.0ohm should work fine for your kGo.

  4. lol, way to completely disregard what i was getting across. i was saying if it's a horizontal coil the kGo might just be putting out too much voltage regardless of what ohm the carto is. key word there though is MIGHT. i don't know for sure. all i can do is make suggestions, based on educated guesses. and it may not, if it's a horizontal coil the resistance of it may not make a difference if it's being hit by 4v. that's my only point. i will agree with you that for this specific clearo a standard eGo batt may be a better option, but we won't know unless someone tries a standard resistance vision on an kGo batt or someone can find out if it's a vertical or horizontal coil. she can either a.) buy a $5 Vision at a standard ohms and try it out and see what happens, hopefully the higher ohm clearo won't give off a burnt taste or b.) buy a $15 eGo batt, and a $5 eGo charger and run whatever ohm vision she wants.

  6. Putting what is to come aside, I think it speaks volumes about the people that have been fighting for this industry, that their efforts and the community and products they've built have most definately put a dent in the profits of some of the biggest companies in the world. That's the definition of innovation. VT and vapers everywhere... congrats.

  7. I agree that this is a good thing for the time being. They will have the funds for R&D and also access to labs in order to prove the safety of eCigs. This will help pave the way for smaller operations to operate without the fear or threat that they are selling a dangerous product. But as Chris said, patent battles will follow as those big companies try to lock themselves into profits to cover the expense of the R&D and the labs. It's a double edged sword. I see that a lot of smaller operations will be bought up by the big companies, that will pay off for those who have hung in thus far but it will be bad for the consumer as customer service will go down the tubes and the choice of products will be scaled down to what can be efficiently mass produced and disposable. Most small operations cannot compete with the big money it takes to have a product patented. The last time I checked, back in 1997, it cost $10,000.00 to have a patent attorney just perform a patent search to see if you invention or idea hasn't already been submitted. We never went as far as having a product patented because the cost was just too far out of sight.

  8. Hey all. Recently I've been getting a sore throat from vaping that has caused me to switched back to analogs. I've been using the e-cig without any analogs since just before last christmas and never had a problem till the last 2 weeks. When i vape my throat feels sore as if im really thirsty, but drinking does not help. I'm using Juice that is 24mg and a pg75/vg25 mix from a repuatible vendor. I'm Vaping from an ego. Perhaps i have a PG alergy? Ether way what im wanting is a reccomendation on a better liquid that will give me the throat hit i require but not cause me to put down vaping altogether. thanks for your help!
