My batteries are the 650s and 7 seconds isn't bad...I just don't like to be "told" when to stop. Okay, I may be a bit stubborn, but I'm getting old and like getting my own way.

You are only gonna get a certain level of satisfaction from the mini ecigs. I would recommend stepping up to an eGo and some LR attys or cartos, heck you may even wanna start looking at higher voltage PV's for clouds of vapor and throat hit. Welcome to Vapor Talk

you need a syringe to fill em and you gotta kinda play with the rubber seals to get it to wick right but after the first one Its pretty easy. plenty of vids out there to show ya. just google ce2 clearomizer and hit videos.

i used to love cartos until I got my order yesterday. 3 attys new drip tip and 5 ce2 clearomizers. If ya got patience to fiddle with em, the clearomizers so far give me outstanding flavor over a carto, as for the attys, they are my first ones but love em, so much easier.

Welcome !!! Like you, I always go back to atty's, I always go back to dripping. I haven't been able to make cartos work for me either. For the last week I have been using the Tube Tank from Volcano ecigs....works great with my ego, holds about 3mls, internal component is a cartomizer and I am still loving it. the only draw back has been some flavor loss over the last week, but the vapor and throat hit is great. Posted some pics of it on my ego.... I hear good things about the Map tank also. Honestly, Its all about what works best for you. You would think, after 2 1/2 years of vaping, and I always go back to dripping, I would quite looking for new things....I must admit, so far the Tube Tank has been great for driving or other times I can't drip. Much, Much better than the Ego tank or the 510 Tank.

I really tried to like cartomizers but after spending money on tanks, duel coil, low res, and a few other kinds of cartomizers I just keep going back to atys. Some people love them and some don't.

dual coil carto's tend to have a tighter draw than boge's or atomizers, so the cone isn't really necessary, i haven't used mine in some time

for future reference, it might be a good idea to try boiling them 3 or four times for 10 minutes, blowing them out each time. or pick up an ultrasonic cleaner and clean them with vodka 3 or 4 times, just running hot water through them never seemed to work for me. i only use cartomizers now, which don't clean out too well

i've used 90% vg juice with the regular dual coil cartomizers filling with the cap method, and it takes no longer than 80% pg juice. with boge's on the other hand, even a 50/50 will take forever to wick. if you find a high vg juice you really like, get a couple of emdcc's (eGo mega dual-coil cartomizers), they work great with even 100%vg
