    Hey Junk, I would have to agree with everyone's comments. Here is the deal: EVERYONE has a bad day, VT might have had one when they sent your order......... I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you are having a bad one today, so I will spare any "Holier than Thou" advice or negative hits to your rep! Here are my 2 cents: I run a branch of a service oriented, material supply company. My branch grosses well into the several millions every year, and I serve many million dollar/per year customers.............the bottom line, I understand customer service. I have never had even a hint of poor service from the VT Store. I was informed of any backorders, and even told when the backordered items would be in. I had a charger part go bad the other day, they mailed the replacement out before I could even ship them back the defective unit. These guys are good..... they may not be perfect like you and me, but I bet they will fix any screw-ups!!!

    I echo the thoughts of the previous posters. VT/Chris is outstanding and if there's ever a problem Chris will fix it promptly. The 2nd poster provided with the link (and the info on where he found it at the store) and I hope you use it soon so you can get your vape on. You're really missing out if you miss out.

  4. wow! i can understand frustration at having difficulty at navigating a site to find the customer support, but that surely was not the best way to approach the issue. Chris has always been great about dealing with returns, give people a chance before you publicly jump on them. So far I have had nothing but good experiences with both Vapor Talk and Liberty Flights I hope your issue gets resolved and if you chose not to return i hope you find what you are looking for elsewhere

  5. Wow! Umm...you must have a lot of people dissing you pretty harshly out there in your neck of the woods to jump to that level of anger so quickly. I can totally relate to people and stores being stupid or ridiculous with all there BS and there is Plenty of it out there but I have not encountered anything like that here or seen any of it on this forum. (I could be wrong, but I am usually not) I have not had any complaints personally with Vapor Talk and have ordered from them several times (mostly liquid) but I have seen 1st hand here on this forum the lengths that Christopher etc will go to to help customers. I hope you will be helped in any form that you need, including your inevitable heart condition. Maybe this is not a typical response from you and I can vouch that you have to yell and be the squeaky wheel a lot in this world to get anything done.

  6. Wow, sorry to hear you had a bad experience. That really is the exception and I'm sure the VTS team will do whatever they need to do to make it right. Hopefully you won't give up on vaping! To be honest, I don't think you have to register on the forum to make a return or log a ticket. The Vapor Talk Store log on and the Vapor Talk Forum log on are two different entities.

  8. Wow i understand that you're upset, but you are going about this the wrong way. VT has some of the best products and best customer support. No need to bash a site that we all love because you're having a minor problem that can be resolved with sending in a ticket. People like you give great sites like this a bad name cuz you don't know what you're doing, you can't even talk about what product you received is corroded.. If you did maybe one of us can help you solve your problem.. Instead you come in here to complain and it's not that hard to sign up for a forum.   9. That is just darn right nasty to diss a site like you did. you did not even take the time to ask for help with your item. I am sure Chris would of helped you if you would of went to the help area on the store. This site and the people and products are awesome. You should of given it a try instead of jumping like you did. Have a good day!

And yes, I meant Chocolate chip cookie. If you want to get technical, Chocolate chips are not always a substitute for melted baking chocolate. Chocolate chips are designed to retain their shape (for cookies naturally) when baking, they contain less cocoa butter than typical baking chocolate. So while yes, it is still chocolate, it's normally intended for cookies. Regardless it was a sarcastic comment made towards the FDA and their nanny like attitude. Your troll like attitude on this topic and various other topics is starting to irritate me. It's taken a lot of work over the years to keep this forum fun, informative and most of all friendly. You where banned from ECF and claimed they where Nazis, if you don't want to see me turn into a Nazi I'd suggest you think before posting your sarcastic unnecessary comments. And if you even think of hitting the negative button on this post like you love to do with other members (again trolling), I will, happily, ban you.

  11. I do deeply apologize for the delay I've been in and out of meetings all day. You'll be the first person to ever report receiving a corroded item. We are more than happy to accept the items back and once they arrive will issue you a full refund including the cost of postage. Once the kit arrives we'll need to inspect the batteries to ensure they are ours (serial number under caps) and to ensure no other batteries on that lot have any issues. A refund will be issued within 24 hours of the items return to our office. I just responded to your email a couple of minutes ago and again we are more than happy to issue you a refund. I'm sorry you are not happy with our service or product. If there is anything else we can do to change your mind, don't hesitate to let us know.

  14. Okay, everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't know how the return system is created but for goodness sakes, what is it to fill out a few lines of information to return an item? You have to fill out paperwork anytime you return anything, especially for a refund not an exchange. Online or boxstores. Also, you have made remarks about a very, very respected individual who put customer in customer service. Chris goes above and beyond anyone I have ever seen to correct any situation.

  15. wow, i've had some rough experiences with some vendors, mostly because everything coming out new is trial & error. I've had pretty good luck with all vendors & returns. Reo Mini- fixed no problem pyrex drip tip- broke in my hand, still have a shard of glass in my finger, sent me a new one cisco 306 LR atty- arrived DOA, promptly sent a new one. most vendors are pretty good about working with. I'd love to know about those that aren't though.

    Amaranth, I have found that the tank atty does need some regular maintenance. First let me ask you about the juice you are using in the atty. Is your juice thin or is it thick? The thin e-liquid is what you need to be using. I know that you mentioned that your juices starts off clear but then turns dark and burnt tasting. At least once a week or more I blow my atty out. Blow from the top end and keep blowing until all the juice is out. With a paper towel, wipe the atty end clean. If your tank atty is gunked up that bad you may have to try and clean it out with everclear, by letting it soak for 15 to 30 minutes. I have even heard of soaking atty's in coke. The acid in coke brakes down the caked on funk. Which ever one you choose to soak the atty in, you are going to have to rinse it out real good with HOT water. Blow it out real good and let it air dry for at least 48 hours. (this is where having back ups comes in real handy). The tank atty does not get a natural air flow, so allowing it to dry out for 48 hours is important. The first time you go to use the atty, you will need to let it sit for a little while before using, to allow the wick to get wet. If you are anything like me, waiting is a problem. To help with my problem, I drop one drop of juice on the wick before inserting the cart. Once you get the atty cleaned out and back to normal, you may want to do some preventive cleaning. To help prevent juice build up, try the following. About every three days blow out the atty until all the juice comes out. Take straight PG and pour a little in the top of the atty. Blow it out. Do this a few times, until the PG coming out is clear. Wipe off the atty. The best part is that you do not have to wait to let the atty dry out. When you use PG to clean it out, you can use it right away. Personally I have found that juice with a higher PG mix works best in the tank. If I use a liquid with a VG mix higher than 30%, I have problems. Also, if I use juice that is dark in color, I have to clean my atty more frequently. Let me know how you make out.

    Biggest Drawbacks Of Vaping?

    Anyone find any drawback to vaping? Particularly in comparison to your experience to analogue. I was expecting to find enough drawbacks to push me back into analogue immediately after getting my 510... but I really haven't found any. Feels like a cig but I can smoke it all day long without that regret of throwing out 60¢ every time I reach for a cig (yep packs of cigs in NYC are really $12... still can't believe that) and really it just feels like an accessory that really resonates with me... I have found one pretty significant drawback (if you can call it that!) from the switch to vaping though. Ever since I got it, it feels like every day is show and tell! haha No matter where I am, people want to grab and try and get a full explanation. I don't mind it, I just find it funny and kind of embarrassing at the same time. Each day I tend to work in a studio with the same people and even though they've seen it before and gotten to try, they still want to see it and see how they like it. A little background, I've been vaping for somewhere around 2 weeks now, so I'm expecting this drawback to settle down soon and hoping that within a couple of years e-cigs will be so popular that they'll be a very common substitute for analogue and more people will recognize and understand what they are and how they work. : ) What drawbacks have you noticed?

So i was wondering, about half way through my day at work i start to lose the initial flavor of my juice.. now this has been happening since i started vaping. most of my juice is either 70/30, 50/50, 100vg. 24-36mg depending on how i wake up .I usually use the 70/30 at work and the rest when i get home, but what i notice is that the juice starts to taste the same.. even if i switch from a tobacco to coffee or blueberry.. the only one that will stay all day with me is the cheap stuff i picked up at the smoke shop around the corner..(NLA-never light again which is 100% vg 24mg) is there a reason behind this or is something wrong with the juice? i also drip,use carts, and ce2 all have the same effect

    Although I find it hard to believe that you would receive any "corroded junk" from the Vapor Talk Store, I am sorry you are so upset. I have no doubt this problem will be taken care of in a timely manner. We almost never have anyone come into this forum with this kind of attitude, so as shocking as this post is, I must say that I am extremely proud of our members who answered so politely and calmly. You all are what makes Vapor Talk the fantastic forum it is. +1s for everyone!!

I was talking to a few friends at work today, and I had them all laughing very hard..lol..I was really tired last night, and while I was cleaning my dresser, I looked up at the mirror and boy a person who vapes sure does look sexy..lol..I was watching myself vape..lmao..Im sure my husband would of agreed with me on that. but anyways they all got a kick out of it today..lol..(Try it) Plus I got my boss to stop smoking too and today he had the nerve to come out and say, I am trying to cut back on the nic cause it is bad for you. I told him to and he they now call me the sexy vaping nut ( I am not a nut)

  27. Hi fellow resident of PA, welcome to the forum. Did you blow out the primer that is in the atty when you first get one? I'm not sure what the primer is. I am thinking it might be pg. What ever it is, blow it out. When you first use a cart and puncture the top. Take the cart back out and remove the top piece. Now take a pair of tweezers or needle nose pliers and twist off the plastic tab, put the top back on the cart and put it back in the atty. Make sure it is well seated in the atty. When using the tank for the first time, let it sit for a minute or two in order to allow the wick to get completely wet. When you are getting a burnt taste from the get go either the wick is not significantly wet or you are using a juice that is too thick and the juice can not flow into the atty. I have to use thin juice in a tank atty. What I do for preventive maintenance: every few days I blow out the atty into a paper towel. I blow until no more juice comes out. Then I take straight pg, pour a little into the top of the atty and blow it through. Repeat this until the pg comes out clean. Blow it out real good, shake it out and then wipe out the connection end to get all the pg off. Now you age good to go. You can boil the tank atty, but you have to do the double boil method, and the boiling water will remove the rubber coating from the atty exterior. It doesn't harm the atty, it just won't look the same. Afterwards you have to make sure you get as much of the water out of the atty and then let it air dry for 48 hours. The natural air flow is restricted so it takes longer to dry out completely. Another way to clean out the atty if it is gunked up is to let it sit in ever clear for 15 to 30 minutes, swirling it around to get the ever clear to agitate in the atty. After the ever clear bath, rinse out with very hot water real good, blow it out and allow to dry for 48 hours. If I do preventive maintenance and don't use thick juice, dark juice, or extremely sweet juice, I don't have to give the atty a bath in ever clear or boiling water. I love my tank even with its "not so good" points. The weak flavor and the condensation build up in the mouth piece and around the cart in the atty. For the condensation build up in the mouth piece, I remove the two little pieces on the top of the mouth piece. I have never gotten juice in my mouth either. For the condensation build up on the outside of the cart piece that is down in the atty, I take it out every so often and wipe it off and replace it. Good luck and I hope this helps and you enjoy your tank as much as I have!

    to tell you the truth I dont know either. I didnt really research it enough before I bought it...I'm just an excited newbee who learned the hard way. The funny thing is they offer Joye Tech, DSE, SLB or Keimer for the same price I have tried and am happy with Joye 510 and DSE 901 have you are anyone tried Tech, SLB or Keimer? I am also curious about the cisco Spec 306 LR

    I prefer the Joye 510 atomizers and the Boge Cartomizers. The only 901's I have used were the dse901. They worked well for me, not sure what off brand you got.

  33. I can't believe a customer has to register at a forum before they can get help in returning the product. I received the product today and it's all corroded!!! I don't see anything on the store site that relays how to return the product, no print out return slip, nothing but to register here. I won't be buying again and I do expect a full refund. Perhaps I should call my credit card company to deny the charge. Absolutely horrible site, horrible product, horrible service.
