  1. I am one of the "young bloods." I saw Chris on YouTube and he looked friendly and knowledgeable. As soon as I posted my intro and started getting tons of welcome replies I knew I had found a good community. (The as yet empty promise of cookies definitely didn't hurt.) Really though, just wanted to hijack for a sec and thank all of the admins and members who take the time to answer all of our questions patiently and soundly. Keep up the good work.^^

  2. I find myself using up my leftover "just ok" juices when mixing up other stuff. If I think that it will not affect the flavor in a negative way I will often times blend it in to the new ones. Although strong flavors like clove may be sitting alone in my juice box for a long time since it is a strong flavor that will most definitely shine through in whatever it's mixed with. As far as storage... we all start small it seems and end up upgrading to larger "tackle box" type storage containers as they work really well keeping everything organized nicely. I have a couple of small storage containers that have now been upgraded to larger sizes. The only real negative I've found using a tackle box, is that I got that funny little laugh from my wife in the beginning, when I was spending hours just organizing stuff and making sure it was all nice and neatly placed. I guess I kinda looked like a little kid on Christmas... all excited to play with my new toys and stuff. The "new" wears off in due time though... just so ya know.

  3. The man works wonders! I swear, the Mountain Dew Code Red tastes awesome! I was also skeptical at first, because the prices were low and have been like that for a couple of months (since I first saw his site, really) but the flavor was just AWESOME. I didn't care much for the full menthol (too strong, he's serious about the power) but the Tobacco Menthol was great. I will probably continue to buy from Vaporrenu and Tastyvapor almost exclusively, because they have great flavors, for great prices. Oh, don't forget, he can also double or triple the flavor (watch out, it gets strong).

  4. I'm not sure which ones you are referring to about the bottle size. But I think they all sell the little dram bottle that you are speaking of though. What I did when I first placed my order for PA flavors, was get those little tiny bottles like you are talking about, that way I could try them all before I went to the larger size. PA flavorings are a lot different than Lorans to me. I don't know exactly how to describe it... but they just seem 'cleaner' or something. It may just be in my head since they are all nice and basically all clear! I only had 2 or 3 out of 20 that I didn't care fore though. Good stuff! And I have found that the Bubble Gum from PA works great for a sweetener as well! Another mainstay in my collection, not really a "flavoring", is Menthol. I honestly add a bit of menthol to every juice that I will be vaping! It's strange... I never smoked menthols back in the day either.

  5. as one of the recent newbies i just wanted to say hello and thank you. many of us newbies have been searching your forum and similar forums for quite some time. this is the only one i have felt drawn to actually register at (it was the cookies that lured me, but the friendly welcomes were an added bonus). I want to personally thank you all for offering so many helpful threads that have led to my returning to vapeing

  6. Just a note from another fairly new 'MIXOLOGIST'... I started with a bunch of different Loranns flavors and went through all of them. I wasn't really THAT impressed so I started doing some research and found Perfumer's Apprentice. I have tried a BUNCH of different ones from them already (just ordered another 20 flavors lastnight) and found them to be a bit weaker... but a lot better quality. Nearly every single Loranns I had was some shade of 'dark'. Almost every single PA flavoring I got in my first batch were clear or nearly clear. I also found them to have a better/cleaner taste than the others or something. I just found that I needed to up my % of flavoring for some of them when mixing. A 15ml bottle for under $4 isn't too bad either really. I'd say to try more than one make of flavorings to see what you personally prefer. I just decided that I much prefer my flavorings to be on the clear side vs. the darker side. JMHO. It really is nice to know with confidence that you can make several different juices that you really like though... so it's well worth the effort you put into it. Just keep in mind that alot of it in the beginning is trial and error. You will probably end up dumping more then you keep when you first start. Don't give up though!

  7. Me, too. I have read some at a couple of other forums (mainly only when there is a link to one from here that someone has suggested), but this is the only one I ever joined. What goes on in some of those other forums is what kept me away from them. I like it here. I'm not an "outgoing" kind of person and I'm still amazed that I participate here. I got a lot of help from the good people here when I first started vaping and I now I just want to help, too. When and if I can. If nothing else, I try to welcome every new person so that they feel as comfortable here as I did when I started. And yes, I am positive that it was the pixie dust that got me here and kept here.

    Direct Drip Frequency

I find that the type and mix of juice dictates how often I drip. But your estimate seems about right. I really should keep track. Its more of a feel and slight taste change that I get that tells me when the atty is getting dry.
