  1. DAYVAPE

    Ready To Upgrade

Also, here is a great read that Jolly put together for newbies. E-cig info As already mentioned... the eGo has a much better battery life and everyone loves them. It's a 3.7v device still though, so I would recommend you got some LR (low resistance) atomizers or cartomizers to use with it. Cartos might work better for you because there is less hassle than messing with attys, carts, wicking, and dripping. They contain the atomizer and filler in one piece... then you vape for an hour (or more for some folks) then top off with more juice. As always, there is a learning curve with everything, and everyone has different opinions and favorites. Just try all the different methods and see what you prefer.

If you can I would suggest the eGo. If you've spent much time reading around the forum or in chat you'll see most of us really do love ours. Honestly, you can't go wrong with it. Many people have bigger, more powerful devices, etc. but their eGo is their "go to" device and it's the best when you're out and about as well. Jolly did the math and I think it has either 9 or 12 times the battery life of those little ones, it's not much longer or bigger for that matter. It is a well-built device and can handle some wear n tear. I've had mine for almost 6 months now and I still love her. You'll want to make sure you have enough juice to last you, and perhaps a spare atty/carto to start off with and you'll be well on your way. You may experience a craving for a cigarette every now and again, but vape that eGo and that urge will subside much more easily than it ever has in the past when trying to quit. Oh yeah!

  3. I love Sweet Dawn! Midnight is OK but I am not a big fan. I believe that if you enjoy wine you would love Midnight. Sweet Dawn has a wonderful TH and taste. It's like the best taste of pear with a hint of apple and a splash of "calm down man it's gonna be OK." I don't vape either of these all day or anything but I do use Sweet Dawn a couple times a week at least. Midnight may be a once in a while thing although I did consider using it exclusively in my "Cobra Commander" Mega atty. (Pics coming soon)

  4. I get my flavorings and glycerine on the Lorannoils website, the super flavorings for candies. I do try to stay away from oily flavors, however if you do get one, you can normally let it set for a few days, and pipette out most of the oil so it wont interfere with the atty, and it works well. Liquid nicotine you can get from a lot of different places, I currently am mixing with 100mg from xtremevaping, and its pretty nice. If you end up using a really strong nicotine -- just remember, a little bit goes a super long way!!! I mean like 5-7 drops per 3ml! Also, with lorann flavorings, they do vary. Best thing I can tell you is to make a little batch, try it, make your tweaks to it, and get used to mixing by taste. Just dont keep adding more and more nic unless you are going to add other stuff too!! hehe, hope that helps, good luck!! oh and Wiltons works pretty well, but for me it oils up and I end up soaking it for a little bit, and taking the oil out. U can get big ole packs with 4 flavors in them for 5 dollars, and it gives quite a bit...but yes it does work pretty well

  5. I am surprised that your health insurance is applying this policy. I wonder how this will fit into the new government healthcare bill. Part of that bill states that you can not be turned down for insurance if you have pre-existing conditions. Wouldn't smoking or nicotine dependency be a pre-existing condition? As for your question about how long nicotine stays in your system, I truly do not know the answer. Somewhere on this forum a member posted that nicotine has a half life and will leave your system in 1 to 2 hours after your last cigarette. However, I do not think this applies to continine because it is a by product of nicotine left over in the body. See this link My link I found it with a quick google search. Maybe this will shed some light on your question. You may want to do a google search for a detox solution. I found a couple sites, but I will not post them here on the forum. Good luck and I hope it all works out in your favor.

How Do I Use My Joye Ego Lol

Good to hear you figured it out so soon. Like Noxious, it took me over 10 minutes and the help of the youngest lol. Even then I forgot to take the empty cartridge off the atty and replace with a prefilled one. doh. But all worked out great.
