Hi James, I ditto B80. Hang in there. This is a transition and it takes a little time for things to fall into place. I've received e-liquid I swore I was going to trash right away. But after reading a bit on the forum about e-liquid and reading some of the e-liquid reviews, what I did (this is just me) was do or die vape it for at least a day. What often happened is that the flavor began to grow on me. In the beginning our tastebuds are pretty dead and our sense of smell is off or even non-existent. What I thought was awful now tastes great and what I thought was great is, well, I certainly won't order it a second time! I guess vaping is a choice. Honestly, I don't know what I'd be doing if I still had to smoke analogs. Please let us know how it goes. There's a lot to think about, do and learn in the beginning. It will work if you want it to!

For any microorganism to grow certain conditions must be met: Temperature and humidity must be high, typically over 85% but ideally over 90%; food must also be present; this food should be in the form of simple sugars. This is one major reason plants store the food for their seeds in the form of starches! And finally, access to water is needed to fuel the fermentation process of breaking down the sugars for food. Propylene glycol has a magical effect of preventing mold growth. It is used in humidifiers for this very purpose. Along with its emulsifing properties and very low toxicity, PG, even when mixed with water, keeps humidity levels at 70%. It also prevents water uptake by these microorganisms therefore preventing germination of the spore itself. Indeed, PG is a truely magical substance! Also, if the carto is made of inorganic material as opposed to, say, cotton, that will inhibit mold growth as well. This is my first juice review. I can NOT say enough good things about Todd's Organic English Toffee e-juice!! I originally went to his site to order the Organic Kona Cream (love the coffee vapes!). But--gasp!--he was out of Kona Cream! So I bit the bullet and bought a 30 ML of the Toffee that I'd heard so many rave about. He offers a 3ml free sample, so put in Kona Cream and in my note I asked if this was the organic one, since that is what I had originally wanted to order. When my package arrived, I happily ripped it open---and, along with the 30ML of the English Toffee juice, I found a 10 ML of Kona Cream with a sweet personal note that he had upgraded my sample since he was out of the Kona Cream I had wanted. WOW---both juices are really, really good! But to my surprise, it was the Toffee that became my go to juice! It has this amazing smoothness to it with a buttery feel that passes over your tongue. I love it so much that I just bought another 30 ML of it! Wish he had it in 60 ML! I really like the Kona Cream, too. I'm a huge coffee lover. For those who like a little lighter tasting coffee vape, this is for you. Personally, I preferred Backwood's Brew Espresso, which isn't a fair comparison since BWB's Espresso is bound to have a stronger coffee taste then a "cream" vape. However, I may order the Kona Cream again. I have a feeling I'm gonna miss it. Only a little bit left of it. Well, there you have it! My first review. I also want to add Todd told me he's willing to add PG to his 100% VG organic juices. Yay! So this order I asked for 30% PG and I know I'll love his juices even more! Wow...is that possible? Welcome to the forum! The Ego would be a good choice to start with. The Ego uses a 510 atomizer. The 510 produces really good vapor. I do have the Ego and am very happy. I mostly use a regular 510 atomizer (with drip tip for direct dripping) or a 510 cartomizer. The 302 atomizer is a pen style atomizer. It is longer and wider than the 510. That doesn't mean it holds more liquid than the 510, it is just a different style. The 302 also produces very nice vapor and IMO better flavor. The 302 will not fit on the Ego. You will need a 510 to 302/801 atomizer adapter for it to fit on the Ego battery. I am not sure if there is 510 to 302/801 adapter. I am sure someone else will be able to answer that question. I usually go the opposite direction, fitting a 510 on a 302/801 fitting. If you plan on going the direct drip route, I suggest you get a drip tip. The drip tips have a wide bore hole that allows you to drip the liquid on the atomizer without having to remove the mouth piece. For liquid choices, because you smoke about 1-2 packs a day, I would go with a bit higher level. I am going to suggest 16/18 mg. I smoked about what you did and that seem to fit me well. I have tried some stuff a bit higher and it really made me goofy. Also, get a few different flavors. Maybe a tobacco flavor, something fruity and something in between. Tobacco flavors really don't mimic the flavor of a real cigarette. IMO tobacco flavors have a nutty flavor. I am sure others will be stopping by to give you more information. Good luck and welcome!

np. I probably could've went more indepth but didn't feel it neccessary to write a thesis here. Hopefully that eases your mind though. I read a report of a test they did on some rats. Two groups were used, both in containers; both groups exposed to the H1N1 flu virus. The first group was also exposed to vaporized PG, the second group was not. As it stands the group that had vaporized PG with the H1N1 did not get sick. The group that was not exposed to the PG got the virus and died. As I recall, the test was done to see if vaporized PG has the same effect of preventing microbial growth as pure liquid PG. I, personally, am doing a controlled experiment with vg and pg used seperately as in an agar growth medium -along with a food source- to test fungal growth. It's in it's first week of testing with no signs of growth, either fungal or baterial. I'll post any test result at the end of the experiment. Dude.

We have a hookah bar in wichita! i love that place it fun to just sit there and listen to music and chill with your friends and try all the flavors they have! And i have never walked out of there coughing of feeling ill. i always fell ALOT better than if i was smoking cigs.

Please don't give up yet. I honestly believe that vaping is for ANYONE who smokes. It took me a few months to totally quit the analogs, I thought that vaping wasn't for me either, but I just kept trying and now I'm a vaping fiend, LOL. Check out www.juicyvapor.com. I had to try all kinds of flavors to find my faves. My friend who introduced me to vaping swore that I would ONLY like tobacco flavors, since I smoked Camel Lights. As it turns out, my husband and I both prefer the more fun fruity flavors.
